Dear friends,
It is with bittersweet hearts that we announce our retirement from touring at the end of July 2023. When we set out to sing Christian music full-time back in 2005, we had no idea how much God would bless our journey or how long it would last. But now, after 18 unforgettable years, we know it's time to bid farewell to the road and to say thank you to all the amazing friends we've met along the way.
We want to take this opportunity to express our deep gratitude to every single person who has supported us throughout this journey. We could not have done this without you and the love and support of our families. We also want to thank God for allowing us to live out our dream and for giving us the opportunity to share His message through our music.
Now, we know you're probably wondering why we're retiring. The truth is, it's been a difficult decision, but one that was necessary. A lot has changed over the past several years since the pandemic. We started a business called Basement Correctors in 2020, just as all of our singing dates were cancelled. Over the past three years, that business, led by Andrew, has grown alongside our touring schedule. As a matter of fact, our Christmas Tour was the most successful tour we have done in 18 years. Besides both the Ball Brothers and Basement Correctors growing, we’ve had several other situations that have needed our attention. Most of which we’ve shared with you over the past year. Daniel had issues with his pancreas in early 2022. Chad and Sarah’s daughter Brooklyn was recently diagnosed with a rare medical condition called Turner’s Syndrome. Rhett and Kyla welcomed their first child in 2022. Thankfully, everyone is doing well, but through these changes in our lives, we have clearly seen God leading us towards what’s next.
Before we say goodbye, we would love to see as many of you as possible at our concerts.
If your church or organization wants to host us before the end of July, please contact the Harper Agency at 615-851-4500. We'll be posting a video soon with more details. In the meantime, we ask that you pray that God would direct our next steps. The silver lining to all of this is that the music and memories we’ve made will last long after we've moved on to what God has next.
Love,
Andrew, Daniel, Chad and Rhett
