Arden, NC. (January 17, 2017) - Crossroads Entertainment and Marketing is excited to announce the return of The Old Paths. After the success of their previous recordings with Sonlite Records and their incredible standing in the industry, we are looking forward with anticipation of continuing with them in this future endeavor. With former members Tim Rackley, Doug Roark and Daniel Ashmore and the addition of Steve Ladd on tenor, the group is poised to retain and even surpass their previous level of success.

From Tim Rackley
“When extenuating family circumstances warranted our departure from the road last December, we didn’t know exactly what God had planned. After much prayer and with our families faring much better—along with their support—we have made the decision to come back on the road for select dates as a group. We are thankful that God has opened this door for us, and we are honored to be able to minister as The Old Paths once again. We appreciate the continuing support of the Crossroads family and Harper Agency that has helped make this return happen. We feel very blessed to share this new phase of The Old Paths with Steve and are excited to see so many of our friends back on the road.“

From Steve Ladd
"I was excited when approached to be a part of The Old Paths return to Gospel music. I have always loved four-part harmony, and these guys are some of the best! I am so thankful for what God has done in my solo ministry. So, to be able to have a solo career still AND sing with these guys on select dates was a no-brainer for me."

From Ed Harper
“The Old Paths had many fans, churches, and promoters who were disappointed but understanding of their reasons for having to take a break from touring last year. Now being able to record new music and tour select dates will excite their fan base. The Harper Agency is glad that the Lord has allowed this door to reopen for Tim, Doug and all The Old Paths. ”

From Chris White
“What a wonderful opportunity it is to re-unite with The Old Paths. Sonlite Records has had a great relationship with them and certainly look forward to continuing our partnership with them. With the addition of one of the industry’s most prolific tenor singers Steve Ladd, we feel the group will be stronger than ever. We can’t wait to get started and be able to service their loyal fan base once again with more great music and performances.”

MARK LOWRY TEAMS WITH CANA’S VOICE TO PRESENT DIAPERS TO DEPENDS TOUR

Johnson City, TN - Those who know Mark Lowry best will attest that the comedic genius is a rather complex individual. As Kevin Williams, his long-time friend and the producer of Lowry’s latest recording has stated, “Mark is funny, serious, simple, complex, in the moment and in the future, all at the same time.” Mark would attribute this complexity to his ADHD diagnosis, but those who know him well simply attest that Mark just loves life and all the complexities that come with living life to the fullest and making each day count.

Over the years, Mark has shared the stage with many of the most elite singers and musicians to ever grace a concert stage. He was a member of the famed Gaither Vocal Band for over 20 years and has also teamed with the likes of The Martins, The Isaacs, Chonda Pierce and Michael W. Smith to create musical harmony that is loved by audiences of all ages. In the Spring of 2017, Lowry will once again team with three of music’s elite as he partners with newly formed musical trio, Cana’s Voice to present the “Diapers To Depends” Tour. “Yes, you read correctly,” Lowry says smiling. “We are indeed calling this the Diapers To Depends Tour because our goal is to attract everyone. I thought about calling it ‘from babies in walkers to Grannies in walkers’, but we settled on Diapers To Depends,” Lowry laughs.

This event indeed will, no doubt, attract listeners of all ages, as it will be a night the entire family will enjoy, regardless of stylistic preferences. Comprised of iconic Gospel singers, Jody McBrayer (formerly of Avalon), TaRanda Greene (formerly of The Greenes) and Doug Anderson (formerly of Signature Sound), Cana’s Voice is quickly capturing the attention of music lovers from varying genres. In late summer, the trio released their very first recording, “This Changes Everything,” comprised of 13 songs, selected by design to offer encouragement to those who may feel they are in a hopeless situation, living in a hopeless world. “Our desire is to use each opportunity we are given to help audiences and listeners understand the importance of pressing on through hard time and believing that God has a great plan,” McBrayer states. “We look forward to the opportunity this Tour with Mark will offer us. Our desire is to use this platform to help change the lives of many people by sharing with them God’s mercy and grace.”

The Diapers To Depends Tour will take place in many cities nationwide throughout 2017. IMC Concerts will serve as Tour promoter and will be offering General Admission Seating, as well as Artist Circle Seating and a variety of Family Packages, in addition to VIP tickets, allowing concert attendees early admittance, preferred seating, a private exclusive question and answer session with the artists, and a souvenir autographed tour lanyard. In addition to Lowry and Cana’s Voice, the Tour will also feature multi-talented pianist, Stan Whitmire. “I am so excited to be on the road with my dear friends and incredible singers and the powerful voices of TaRanda, Jody and Doug. The icing on the cake is that we have the greatest pianist in Gospel music with us in Stan Whitmire. It truly is a night for the whole family to enjoy.

Ed Harper to Receive SGMG Lifetime Achievement Honor

September 15, 2016 (Nashville, TN) – Ed Harper, iconic Gospel music industry veteran, will receive the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Honor from the SGMG (Southern Gospel Music Guild) during the 2016 National Quartet Convention In Pigeon Forge, TN. The presentation of the honor will take place during an invitation-only reception on Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at the LeConte Center. The announcement was made today by SGMG President, Clarke Beasley. Mr. Harper is the president of The Harper Agency, an elite booking agency for Gospel music artists.

"I can think of no one else that is more deserving of this honor than Mr. Ed Harper," stated Beasley. "For over four decades, Ed Harper has served the Gospel music community with excellence and integrity, continuing the legacy of his father. He is the epitome of class, representing his artists and gospel music with dignity, respect, and excellence - tirelessly working to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ."

Growing up as the son of the late Herman Harper, Ed Harper was exposed to the gospel music industry at a young age. Herman was the original bass singer of the Oak Ridge Boys during their early years as a gospel quartet, from 1956-1968. The last three years Herman also served as a co-owner and manager of the Oaks. Wanting to get off the road, Herman left his role with the Oak Ridge Boys in December of 1968 and began working with the first ever booking agency in gospel music Don Light Talent, who represented the group at the time.

As a young teenager, Ed began observing the booking agent’s world and through high school and college hoped that someday he may be able to follow in his father’s footsteps. In January of 1982, beginning his last semester before graduating at Belmont College majoring in business management, his lifelong dream came true. Ed recalls, “My father called me at my dorm one morning and said come in the office today. He was headed out of town but had a general price list of the agency roster on his desk that I could reference for all incoming phone calls inquiring about booking the artists. I actually booked my first date on an artist that day and I was hooked, and have never looked back.”

When Ed graduated from Belmont in May of 1982 he began working full time with Don Light Talent alongside his father, overseeing the gospel division of the agency. In 1986, he and his father started their own agency and this year marks the 30th year of the Harper Agency. Over the next few years, Herman Harper decided to bring his two other sons Clay and Jeff into the fold and the Harper Agency was definitely a family affair. In December of 1993 Herman Harper passed away unexpectedly. Wanting to fulfill his father’s intentions prior to his death, the agency incorporated and Ed became president and Jeff and Clay officers and co-owners of the agency. Over the years the Harper Agency has represented many of the pioneer artists in southern gospel music such as the Cathedral Quartet, JD Sumner and the Stamps, Vestal Goodman, Florida Boys, the Speer Family. Today their roster includes many top artists in southern gospel; Mark Lowry, the Booth Brothers, Isaacs, Martins, Legacy Five, Collingsworth Family, Brian Free and Assurance, the McKameys, Mark Trammell QT, The Talleys, Whisnants, Tribute, The Perrys, Kingsmen Quartet, Karen Peck and New River, Jim Brady Trio, Ball Brothers and Mark Bishop.

Throughout his career, Ed Harper has had the opportunity to serve as a board of director for industry organizations such as the Gospel Music Association, GMA Foundation and Hall of Fame, Southern Gospel Music Guild and the Gospel Music Trust Fund which his late father founded in 1983. Ed states “I have always wanted to gain knowledge in all areas of the music industry and having the opportunity to serve on the board of many organizations has been a great educational process along with a networking opportunity. This year marks my 35th year in the business I truly love and am blessed to be a part of. I love sharing with young aspiring agents and artists what I have learned through my journey, the good and the challenging moments as well. No two days have ever been the same.”

Dogs Go to Heaven — and “Other Undisputed Facts” from GRAMMY® Award-winning Mark Lowry Hits the Top of Multiple Charts

Gospel Music Hall of Fame Member Combines Slide-splitting Comedy and Moving Songs with All-New Recording

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—June 1st, 2016—GRAMMY® Award-winning singer/songwriter/comedian Mark Lowry has just released Dogs Go to Heaven (Gaither Music Group), an all-new recording available now on CD and DVD. The DVD debuted at the #1 spot on this week’s Billboard Music Video chart and on the Christian Music Video chart, according to Nielsen Soundscan. The audio recording topped this week’s Southern Gospel chart and came in at #5 on the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) chart.

The uplifting collection, filmed LIVE at First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN, brings to life moving songs, side-splitting comedy and spiritual truths, including Lowry’s “undisputed knowledge” that dogs go to heaven!

“TOP of the chart??” exclaimed the comedian with laughter upon receiving the news. “I guess this must have been a slow week for everybody, huh?! What a way to wake up on a Tuesday! I’m humbled and I’m so grateful to all of the people who made this happen—‘Q’ Phillips, Matthew Underwood, Troy Collins, Gaither Studios and Music Group, First Baptist Church and its choir, the musicians, Capitol Christian Music Group—everyone who had in a hand in it. I’m glad to be doing what I’m doing, and at my age I’m thrilled to be at the top of anything!”

Both a master of comedy and a master of ceremony, the GMA Hall of Fame member takes listeners on a concert journey with this new release showcasing his musical prowess and heartfelt stories. Featuring guest appearances from The Martins, Stan Whitmire, TaRanda and the First Baptist Church Choir, the nationally-acclaimed performer fills the audience with laughter; yet he shares his contemplative side as well with honest, redeeming messages.

One of the most popular touring artists in Christian music, Lowry loves to connect with an audience; and that passion shows on Dogs Go to Heaven. “That’s why I leave the lights up in the audience,” he explains, “so I can see them. I like to look everybody in the eyes sometime during the night.

"I love it all. I love the opening when we’re getting to know each other (the audience and me), and I love the conversations on stage between me and The Martins or with whoever happens to be with me that night. I love walking out in the audience and getting closer to the people. I enjoy introducing ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ (which I will do every night, probably, for the rest of my life…when you only have one hit, you sing it every night!) And I treasure the serendipitous moments when God shows up, without warning, but very expectedly. We always ask Him to…I love that, and I love the email I receive from people telling me how the concert affected them.”

Lowry’s career has spanned from contemporary Christian music recordings and best-selling comedy videos to his platform as a member of the lauded Gaither Vocal Band for over 20 years. The co-writer (along with Buddy Greene) of “Mary, Did You Know?” his talents have placed him on the Gaither HOMECOMING Video Series and on world-renowned stages including Carnegie Hall and The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Dogs Go to Heaven is distributed through Capitol Christian Distribution and is available throughout general market stores and the Christian marketplace in addition to online retailers including iTunes, Amazon and www.gaither.com. Lowry is featured weekly on the Gaither HOMECOMING shows on TV networks including PBS, Dish TV, RFD and TBN, among others; and the new release will be featured in Homecoming Magazine. For further information about Lowry visit: www.marklowry.com or www.facebook.com/markalanlowry or @MarkAlanLowry. Lowry’s current radio single “Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven” (How We Love)—a song made familiar to him by friend and country music legend Loretta Lynn—features American bluegrass and country music group Dailey & Vincent.

Southern Gospel Music Association Celebrates with Tracy Stuffle for 30 Years with The Perrys

The Southern Gospel Music Association (SGMA) celebrated today with The Perrys as Tracy Stuffle marked 30 years as the groups award winning bass singer.

On behalf of the SGMA, Arthur Rice, president, congratulated Tracy Stuffle at a presentation at the Pines Theater at Dollywood. Rice also read a proclamation from the Tennessee State Senate that declared Tracy Stuffle as having a genuine heart for the people. The proclamation further stated “it is fitting that the members of this legislative body should honor those artists who, use their extraordinary talents, serve God with dedication, vigor, and enthusiasm and continue to bring renown to the State of Tennessee”.

Rick Francis with Singing News magazine presented a plaque on behalf of the publication in conjunction with StowTown Records to commemorate the day.

The Perrys are artists recording under StowTown Records.

Many of the Perrys fellow artists joined the tribute via video messages. Making a special appearance, joining the Perrys on stage was Judy Hess, Joyce Sanders and Jonathan Martin of the Martins. Together, the sibling group surrounded Tracy and sang an a cappella hymn.

In true to Tracy Stuffle style, the celebration was topped off with Tracy singing, “Time Has Made a Change”. The song is a solo from the new album, “Sing”.

While 30 years is significant, this one for Tracy Stuffle is even more important. Following the enormous struggles that Tracy has overcome after a life altering series of debilitating strokes and other major medical complications, he is on stage smiling and singing to everyone’s delight.

Having survived the biggest trial of their lives, the family stands together both in life and on stage along with son Jared Stuffle at bass, Andrew Goldman at lead and Troy Peach singing baritone. The Perrys have a renewed passion for encouraging others for Christ.

The release of their newest project from StowTown Records, “Sing” features songs that remind that God is there in the “Unexpected Storm”. The first single “Keep On” is already impacting fans and friends alike with the message that no matter how bad your situation we must “Keep On” with resilience and steadfastness. With the brilliance of the Perrys producer, Wayne Haun, fans should soon be acquainted with the entire album.

“Go God, go!” has been Libbi Perry Stuffle’s mantra since that terrifying January night in 2013 when Tracy suffered the first stroke while driving. “Countless nights many have prayed over Tracy, this celebration is for all Perrys fans!” said Libbi.

“It seemed appropriate that this date fell during the Gospel and Harvest Celebration at this renowned theme park”, remarked Troy Peach. “We are thrilled that the SGMA shared this day with The Perrys and recognize Tracy’s contribution to the world of Southern Gospel Music,” Peach continued.

Tracy Stuffle is husband to original Perrys member, Libbi Perry Stuffle and father of Jared Stuffle.

Established in 1994, the Southern Gospel Music Association (SGMA) is a professional preservation association of artists, songwriters, industry workers and fans founded to preserve, protect and promote Southern Gospel Music, its history and heritage.

Karen Peck Gooch said, "Ricky is such an anointed singer. We cannot wait for all for our fans to meet him and hear him sing. We are so blessed that God has led him to our Ministry.” Ricky stated, "I couldn’t be more excited to be joining such an awesome group. It is obvious that God is working through Karen Peck and New River, and I am so thankful to be a part of it.” Ricky Braddy, a graduate of Belmont University, is a Christian/Worship artist living in Nashville, TN. Growing up in rural North Carolina, Ricky developed his love for music in the church. Sibling duets, family quartets, and Gospel trios were some of the first musical experiences he gained. One of his most notable endeavors was on season 8 and made it to the top 15 of Fox’s hit reality television show, American Idol. After his departure from American Idol, Ricky spent the next few years working on original music that was released in the summer of 2013. The opportunity to return to the music he loves and the passion that drives him has been incredibly fulfilling. He is very passionate about creating music that will bring glory to God. Ricky is continuing to follow the leadership of God’s Spirit in his life. To learn more about Karen Peck and New River go to http://www.karenpeckandnewriver.com .

Gus Gaches Departs Legacy Five

Franklin, TN-Scott Fowler of Legacy Five has announced that the group’s tenor, Gus Gaches will be departing Legacy Five after more than 5 and a half years with the award-winning group.

Gaches states that, “singing tenor in a southern gospel group is a very demanding job vocally. The reality is that it has become increasingly more rigorous for me over the past several months because of severe allergies and vocal fatigue. I have sought much assistance from doctors and voice teachers alike and cannot seem to find a lasting solution. When I started this Legacy Five season of my life, I thanked Scott Fowler for hiring me. I move into the next chapter of my life thanking Scott Fowler for allowing me to be a part of this great group for over 5 years. I also want to thank the Legacy Five Family, those who follow love and support Legacy Five, for their love support and gifts to me and my family.”

Fowler says, “Everyone on this bus respects and appreciates Gus and his heart. He has been such an easy person to travel with. The only time in over 5 years that I saw Gus upset was anytime the Nashville Predators failed to advance in the play-offs….seriously. Gus has a beautiful voice and we pray that with continued treatment and some rest, he will continue to be able to sing in a less taxing capacity than the road demands. Gus and his family are precious people and we wish them all the best as they enter the next season of their lives.”

Gus will continue to travel with Legacy Five for a yet to be determined amount of time while Legacy Five starts the search for the tenor that will replace him. Please keep the Gaches family in your prayers as they seek God in this new season of their lives, and please pray for Legacy Five, as they seek God’s provision for the right person to minister with them.

If you are interested in auditioning for Legacy Five, you may contact Fowler at scottfowler@legacyfive.com.

NEW DIRECTION FOR THE OLD PATHS

Douglasville, GA - For more than twelve years, The Old Paths have traveled not only across the United States, but also the world. It has been their privilege to share the good news of Jesus through Southern Gospel music.

While the blessings that the quartet has received have been numerous, this group has faced many challenges in the last year—primarily family obligations and health issues. Many are aware of the sudden, life-threatening condition that was discovered with Tim Rackley's daughter which required an immediate kidney transplant.

Group owners Tim Rackley and Douglas Roark have decided that it is in the best interest of their families for their focus to be on home. With this decision, The Old Paths' final service will be December 6, 2015. They will be honoring all dates currently on their calendar as well as any additional dates added before December 6. Both Tim and Douglas feel it is important to honor obligations to those who have invested in The Old Paths. They also want the other members of the group more-than-ample time to make future plans.

Tim stated, "Those that truly know us know our hearts. When we started The Old Paths, we never dreamed that our desire to simply sing in small churches would evolve in to what our ministry has become. We sincerely hope that we have blessed others as much as we have been blessed. We will miss traveling and singing but we feel like it is time for our families to take priority."

"Decisions like these are probably the hardest for a group owner(s), and it is not a decision to taken lightly", says Douglas, "but once we stepped back and looked at the big picture, the decision was obvious."

"It’s been an honor and certainly a privilege to have worked with The Old Paths over the past few years. They are not only men of incredible talent, but incredible integrity as well. In discussing this with them, I could hear and feel the difficulty of this decision from the depths of their hearts. Though difficult, I believe they are doing what they truly believe is right for their families. I have truly enjoyed working with Doug and Tim throughout our journey. My prayers will be with them as they go to the next chapter in their lives!" — Chris White, Crossroads Music

“All of us at the Harper Agency realize the difficultly for Doug and Tim in making a decision such as this. However, we respect the fact that their families are a priority at this time. We have been honored to play a role in the growth of their music ministry the last two years and are fully committed to fulfilling our commitment to their scheduling thru December 6, 2015.“ — Ed Harper, The Harper Agency

The Old Paths will always cherish the friendships and memories made throughout their travels and hope that in some way they played a part in furthering the kingdom of Christ. The Old Paths, through all they have experienced, both good or bad, could always refer to this scripture: In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. [1 Thessalonians 5:18]

TRACY STUFFLE NAMED 2015 LIVING LEGEND

StowTown recording artists, The Perrys, are pleased to announce veteran bass vocalist, emcee, and manager of the Perrys, Tracy Stuffle, has been named Christian Voice's Living Legend for 2015. This honor was made public at the magazine's 2015 Gospel Music Fan Awards held Saturday, May 23, 2015, at the 11th Annual Gospel Music FanFair in Somerset, KY.

Growing up in Morristown, TN, Tracy's love of music and talent for speaking were both evident at a young age. He grew up loving the songs of the church and the classic sounds of southern gospel, which fueled his fire to sing this music himself. He won a speaking contest during his time in the Future Farmers of America club at school, an early sign of his talent for emceeing which would blossom later as a member of the Perrys. Tracy joined this family group in 1985 and subsequently married original member of the group, Libbi Perry Stuffle. The couple now own and manage the group. This year, Tracy celebrates 30 years as the bass vocalist for the Perrys, and is touted as one of the most dynamic emcees of the past 20 years. His talents have been awarded multiple times with the group's honors for Favorite Mixed Group, Favorite Album, and Favorite Song of the year by Singing News Magazine, and the group has numerous number one songs to their credit.

Tracy was excited to have been nominated for Christian Voice's Living Legend award along side such legendary names as Ronny Hinson, Tim Riley, Mark Lowry, and Jeanette Cook, among others. When he found out he had won, he was very excited and wanted to send a special thank you to those who voted for him, those who have supported the Perrys' ministry for the past nearly 45 years, and especially for those who have continued to pray for his recovery during the past two-and-a-half years following a major stroke and five brain bleeds in January 2013.

Continuing to sing and emcee each night, Tracy is more excited than ever to be on stage, telling the story of God's faithfulness, healing, and miracles. His longevity in the industry and the successful run of the Perrys under his leadership certainly qualify him for this honor of Living Legend. Libbi and Jared Stuffle, Troy Peach, and Andrew Goldman are thrilled to share the news of this honor with their many fans.

For more information about the Perrys, who are booked exclusively by The Harper Agency, visit www.perrysministries.com.

NFL Legend Terry Bradshaw Shares Stage With The Isaacs

Nashville, Tenn (April 27, 2015) Just a few short days ago, former NFL Superstar Terry Bradshaw, joined the Isaacs on stage to perform the classic Gospel song "What A Day That Will Be” in Pollok, Texas.

His appointment got canceled in Louisiana, so he decided to drive a few miles to Texas to hear the Isaacs. Not only did Terry show up, but he also brought his 86 year old Mother and his lovely wife, Tammy. Bradshaw garnered a huge laugh when he asked the question "How many singers get the Isaacs to open for them?”

No stranger to the singing microphone, as Terry Bradshaw recorded several Gospel albums in the 1980s, he comfortably picked up the mic and related that he sang this song a several weeks earlier in Hawaii. With that, the Isaacs started strumming their instruments, Terry grabbed his cheat sheet and they were off and running with a great rendition of this classic song.

Lily Isaacs commented, "It's so strange that people who are legends in their own right would say they are a "Fan” of the Isaacs. We have known Terry for several years and are always pleased to be with him and his family. Terry is not ashamed of his Christianity in a broadcast world where it is not common.”

2015 Absolutely Gospel Music Award Nominees Announced

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (January 20, 2015) – The administrators and staff of AbsolutelyGospel.com are proud to announce the nominees for the 2015 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. As in years past, the nominees were chosen by the staff of AbsolutelyGospel.com and select media representatives. Starting on February 1, 2015, the fans will get a chance to vote for their favorites in a dozen categories.

"It is hard to believe that it is time to be announcing another batch of nominees,” mentioned AbsolutelyGospel.com President/CEO Deon Unthank. "Our awards program has become a highlight in the Southern Gospel industry, and we can’t wait to announce all of the plans we have this year!”

Chris D. Unthank, Editor-In-Chief of AbsolutelyGospel.com said, "This is another great listing of artists and individuals who best represented our genre in 2014. We aren’t just about nominating the most popular and recognizable names in the industry. Our awards are about the best our music had to offer from a musical and artistic standpoint for the previous year. This year’s nominees don’t change that at all.”

In addition, the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards opened a new category, Music Video of the Year due to the large increase of short-form concept videos being produced in the genre over the last couple of years. Music videos belonging to HIGHROADIII, The Freemans, Brian Free & Assurance, Wilburn & Wilburn, and Jason Crabb were the first to be nominated in this category.

As far as nominations go, four artists tied for the most nominations this year. Last years big winners The Isaacs along with the Bowling Family, Brian Free & Assurance, and 11th Hour landed an impressive seven nominations each this year.

The Isaacs took home nominations in Mixed Group of the Year and Fan Favorite Artist of the Year in addition to several other mentions and individual nominations for group members Ben Isaacs, Becky Isaacs Bowman, and Sonya Isaacs Yeary.

Brian Free & Assurance saw nods in Song of the Year (for "Say Amen”) and Album of the Year (for Unashamed), just like 11th Hour for "How Will You Plead?” and Picture This respectively.

Karen Peck & New River, The Browders, and HIGHROADIII each earned five nominations apiece. Following behind those artists were Gold City, The Talleys, The Dunaways, and Tribute with four mentions, while the Booth Brothers, The Freemans, and Three Bridges all landed three nods. Several artists earned double nominations, including Legacy Five, The OldPaths, Triumphant, Mark Trammell Quartet, Jim Brady Trio, Collingsworth Family, Zane & Donna King, and the Kingsmen.

Two people earned the most individual nominations: new soloist Joseph Habedank and hit songwriter Kenna West. They both earned a staggering eight nominations apiece. Habedank landed mentions in Breakthrough Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year in addition to multiple songwriting mentions as well. West landed her fifth consecutive Songwriter of the Year notice and had double Song of the Year nominations (for co-writing "Finish Well” and "Say Amen”).

Songwriter Dianne Wilkinson earned an impressive seven nods as well - including four mentions in the Song of the Year category. Jeff Collins and Ricky Free landed six nominations, while Michael Farren, Gordon Mote, and Lee Black each earned five nods. Mentioned four times were Karen Peck Gooch, Amber Eppinette, Jim Brady, Jason Cox, and Roger Talley. Multiple people earned three nominations including Ben Isaacs, Jeff Stice, Jerry Salley, Amber Nelon Thompson, Matthew Browder, and Becky Isaacs Bowman.

The Pacesetter Award is awarded to any artist, individual, or organization that has shown great strides in the industry and has raised the bar for others. This year’s nominees for the 2015 Pacesetter are satellite radio station enLighten Sirius-XM Satellite Radio, new Southern Gospel television show Music City Show, popular blogging site MusicScribe.com, record label StowTown Records, and promotional firm Vertical Sky Promotions.

More information on the 2015 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards Celebration will be forthcoming, including hosts, performers, and sponsors, etc. The date for this year’s Absolutely Gospel Music Awards Celebration is Tuesday, April 14, 2015. Harper Agency Reaches Scheduling Agreement With The Collingsworth Family

Goodlettsville, TN - One of Christian music's leading booking agencies, The Harper Agency, has announced plans to add the 2014 Mixed Group of the Year, The Collingsworth Family (pictured in attached jpg) to their extensive list of talent. The Harper Agency will immediately begin scheduling this multi-talented musical family for concert events in 2015.

The ministry of The Collingsworth Family is one that first began in 1986 with the husband/wife team of Phil and Kim Collingsworth. In 2000, with the addition of their four children, Brooklyn, Courtney, Phil Jr, and Olivia, the couple embarked upon a full-time music ministry that has garnered much success. Throughout the past 15 years, collectively, the family has released more than three dozen audio and video recordings, spawning 18 Top 40 national radio releases and earning 22 Industry Awards from fans and peers alike. They are recognized for their rich vocal harmony, as well as anointed musical abilities and overwhelming desire to share the message of the Gospel in song with excellence.

The Harper Agency is pleased to add The Collingsworth Family to their roster of fine artists, and looks forward to playing a vital role in new ministry opportunities for the family. "Our desire is to continue to assist their ministry in creating new opportunities for touring," Ed Harper, President of The Harper Agency, states. "Their potential is absolutely unlimited. We've watched their growth over the years and their commitment to ministry, and it is very impressive. They have consistently worked hard at improving their gifts and talents, vocally and musically. It is very evident that they are very committed to perfecting their God-given abilities, and I believe this commitment level has been a tremendous asset to their growth. We are very excited to have the opportunity to represent them and look forward to the future and what we believe God has in store."

For The Collingsworth Family, joining the Harper Agency provides an opportunity to be a part of a rich heritage, while pursuing new endeavors. "Partnering together with The Harper Agency is an exciting chapter in the concert ministry of The Collingsworth Family," Phil Collingsworth, Sr, shares. "After seeing the tradition of classic groups like The Cathedrals and The Speers, who were associated with The Harper Agency for many years; as well as seeing the mainline groups on their present day roster, which have been with them for many, many years, The Collingsworth Family is honored to be represented by an agency with such a long-standing tradition of great relationships and excellence."

The Agency is currently scheduling 2015 dates for The Collingsworth Family. Additional information regarding The Collingsworth Family is available online at www.TheCollingsworthFamily.com.

TROY PEACH RETURNS TO THE PERRYS

"Like a son coming home," is how Libbi Perry Stuffle makes the announcement describing the return of Troy Peach to the Perrys, a position he last held four years ago. Troy replaces the departing Bryan Walker, whose resignation was announced two weeks ago. Troy comes to the group having most recently toured with the Bowling Family. Troy says, "I'm thrilled to be back with the Perrys! Libbi and Tracy are literally like family. We live five minutes from each other. Jared is like a little brother. Andrew is among the best talents in our industry. And who sings better songs than the Perrys? After four years, it feels good to be back with Tracy and Libbi. It is my goal to, of course, be that vocal part they need, but also to assist Libbi in all aspects of the group's ministry. I do believe in timing and seasons for everything, and I believe that this is the right time to step back on the Perrys bus and do what I can to support Libbi and Tracy and help the group continue to grow and prosper." The transition to the Perrys will take place in the next two weeks. The Perrys thank everyone for their continued prayers and support during this time.

Jim Brady Trio Announcement

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 17, 2014) – The debut of the Jim Brady Trio and the Booth Brothers first concert with new group member Paul Lancaster will highlight Legacy Five’s New Year’s Eve Celebration, which will be held at Nashville’s Gaylord Opryland Hotel.

Brady has spent the last 12 years as the baritone singer of the award-winning Booth Brothers trio, but he will now be singing with his wife Melissa and former Legacy Five pianist Tim Parton as the Jim Brady Trio debuts on Thursday morning, Jan. 1.

Paul Lancaster is joining the Booth Brothers, and he will make his debut with the group on Wednesday evening, Dec. 31. That will also be Brady’s last concert with the group.

"It's extraordinarily rare that you get to witness this much Southern Gospel Music history in one place at one time, ”says Legacy Five group manager and lead singer Scott Fowler. “To see and hear the Booth Brothers for the last time with Jim Brady, and to hear the new Jim Brady Trio and to hear the new Booth Brothers lineup all at the same event is really exciting. What better way than to ring out the old year and sing in the new year … the end of a season and the start of a new one."

There will be four sessions of this year’s New Year’s Eve Celebration event, beginning at 7 p.m. on Dec. 30 with a lineup that includes the Collingsworth Family, the Burchfield Brothers, Triumphant Quartet and Tim Lovelace. The Collingsworth Family will be back for a 10 a.m. session on Wednesday morning, Dec. 31, along with the Freedom Singers and Rick White.

In addition to performances by both the new and existing configuration of the Booth Brothers, the 8 p.m. session on Dec. 31 will also include Greater Vision and a Jubilee performance that includes the Booth Brothers, Greater Vision and Legacy Five. Legacy Five will be performing at each session. Then, the event will conclude with a 10 a.m. concert on Jan. 1 that will include Cal Reichnor in addition to the host group and the Jim Brady Trio.

Tickets are available by calling 931-379-7262, and registration for full weekend packages – which include lodging at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel – can be done by visiting www.celebrationnye.com.
