Harper Agency Reaches Scheduling Agreement With The Collingsworth Family

Goodlettsville, TN - One of Christian music's leading booking agencies, The Harper Agency, has announced plans to add the 2014 Mixed Group of the Year, The Collingsworth Family (pictured in attached jpg) to their extensive list of talent. The Harper Agency will immediately begin scheduling this multi-talented musical family for concert events in 2015.

The ministry of The Collingsworth Family is one that first began in 1986 with the husband/wife team of Phil and Kim Collingsworth. In 2000, with the addition of their four children, Brooklyn, Courtney, Phil Jr, and Olivia, the couple embarked upon a full-time music ministry that has garnered much success. Throughout the past 15 years, collectively, the family has released more than three dozen audio and video recordings, spawning 18 Top 40 national radio releases and earning 22 Industry Awards from fans and peers alike. They are recognized for their rich vocal harmony, as well as anointed musical abilities and overwhelming desire to share the message of the Gospel in song with excellence.

The Harper Agency is pleased to add The Collingsworth Family to their roster of fine artists, and looks forward to playing a vital role in new ministry opportunities for the family. "Our desire is to continue to assist their ministry in creating new opportunities for touring," Ed Harper, President of The Harper Agency, states. "Their potential is absolutely unlimited. We've watched their growth over the years and their commitment to ministry, and it is very impressive. They have consistently worked hard at improving their gifts and talents, vocally and musically. It is very evident that they are very committed to perfecting their God-given abilities, and I believe this commitment level has been a tremendous asset to their growth. We are very excited to have the opportunity to represent them and look forward to the future and what we believe God has in store."

For The Collingsworth Family, joining the Harper Agency provides an opportunity to be a part of a rich heritage, while pursuing new endeavors. "Partnering together with The Harper Agency is an exciting chapter in the concert ministry of The Collingsworth Family," Phil Collingsworth, Sr, shares. "After seeing the tradition of classic groups like The Cathedrals and The Speers, who were associated with The Harper Agency for many years; as well as seeing the mainline groups on their present day roster, which have been with them for many, many years, The Collingsworth Family is honored to be represented by an agency with such a long-standing tradition of great relationships and excellence."

The Agency is currently scheduling 2015 dates for The Collingsworth Family. Additional information regarding The Collingsworth Family is available online at www.TheCollingsworthFamily.com.

TROY PEACH RETURNS TO THE PERRYS

"Like a son coming home," is how Libbi Perry Stuffle makes the announcement describing the return of Troy Peach to the Perrys, a position he last held four years ago. Troy replaces the departing Bryan Walker, whose resignation was announced two weeks ago. Troy comes to the group having most recently toured with the Bowling Family. Troy says, "I'm thrilled to be back with the Perrys! Libbi and Tracy are literally like family. We live five minutes from each other. Jared is like a little brother. Andrew is among the best talents in our industry. And who sings better songs than the Perrys? After four years, it feels good to be back with Tracy and Libbi. It is my goal to, of course, be that vocal part they need, but also to assist Libbi in all aspects of the group's ministry. I do believe in timing and seasons for everything, and I believe that this is the right time to step back on the Perrys bus and do what I can to support Libbi and Tracy and help the group continue to grow and prosper." The transition to the Perrys will take place in the next two weeks. The Perrys thank everyone for their continued prayers and support during this time.

Jim Brady Trio Announcement

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 17, 2014) – The debut of the Jim Brady Trio and the Booth Brothers first concert with new group member Paul Lancaster will highlight Legacy Five’s New Year’s Eve Celebration, which will be held at Nashville’s Gaylord Opryland Hotel.

Brady has spent the last 12 years as the baritone singer of the award-winning Booth Brothers trio, but he will now be singing with his wife Melissa and former Legacy Five pianist Tim Parton as the Jim Brady Trio debuts on Thursday morning, Jan. 1.

Paul Lancaster is joining the Booth Brothers, and he will make his debut with the group on Wednesday evening, Dec. 31. That will also be Brady’s last concert with the group.

What better way than to ring out the old year and sing in the new year … the end of a season and the start of a new one."

There will be four sessions of this year’s New Year’s Eve Celebration event, beginning at 7 p.m. on Dec. 30 with a lineup that includes the Collingsworth Family, the Burchfield Brothers, Triumphant Quartet and Tim Lovelace. We highly recommend this film for the newly to experienced married couples in our audience.

The Producer/Director, David A.R.White said of Karen Peck, "Working with Karen was such a pleasure, both personally and professionally. She may not have acted in many films, yet everyone could tell she was a consummate professional. Super natural and brought her southern charm to her acting. I loved working with Karen Peck. To me, she is America's Sweetheart. Thank you Karen."

New Jim Brady Trio Added To Harper Agency Artist Roster

Goodlettsville, TN- One of Christian music's leading booking agencies, The Harper Agency, has named the newly organized Jim Brady Trio, as the latest addition to their artist roster. The announcement comes just a few days after popular vocal group, The Booth Brothers shared the news that long-time group member Jim Brady would be leaving the group at the end of the year. "Ronnie and I are saddened to see Jim depart our team," Michael Booth stated, "yet we are tremendously excited about his future contributions to Gospel Music."

Since joining The Booth Brothers in 2002, Jim has become a favorite among Southern Gospel Music lovers. Over the past decade Jim, with Ronnie and Michael Booth, have become one of Gospel Music's most awarded groups, collectively receiving more than 100 industry honors and accolades. "The last 12 and a half years have meant more to me than words could ever express," Jim shared. "Ronnie and Michael have truly become brothers to me, and I'll be forever thankful for the great times spent with them."

To say that Jim's time with The Booth Brothers solidified his place at the pinnacle of Gospel Music would be an understatement; however, Jim possessed a rich musical heritage prior to his arrival with the Brothers. He first began singing with his gifted musical family at the age of five, and by the time he was 16 he began songwriting. Also prior to joining The Booth Brothers, Jim traveled with his wife, Melissa, and her family, The Shulers for nearly a decade. Jim and Melissa merged their songwriting gifts and are now recognized as two of Gospel Music's most prolific songwriters, having penned more than 200 songs.

Over the years Melissa has faithfully supported her husband's calling to Gospel Music, and as often as possible the two have had the privilege to sing and minister together. Melissa is a talented vocalist and musician and was featured on the Women of Homecoming Gaither Videos released in 2013. She is a regular columnist for The Singing News Magazine and Homecoming Magazine, and has also filled in for such popular groups as The Hoppers, The Martins and Lordsong over the past several years. "God has brought so many opportunities our way as a result of Jim's time with The Booth Brothers," Melissa said. "Had he chosen to sing with them for the rest of his life, I would have supported him 100 percent, but God had other plans, and we are honored that He is affording us the opportunity to share a full-time ministry. "

The third member of the Jim Brady Trio has yet to be named; however, Jim and Melissa know God has the perfect person already selected. "We are so excited about this new adventure," Jim stated. "The decision to leave The Booth Brothers was not made lightly, but I felt an urging from God that this is right, and I am so grateful for Michael and Ronnie's blessings on this new ministry."

"We have no doubt The Jim Brady Trio is equipped to make quality music that will encourage and evangelize," Michael explained. "Great days are ahead for this union, and we know God is going to use them in a mighty way."

The Harper Agency is pleased to have the opportunity to work with this newly formed group and are thrilled to add The Jim Brady Trio to their roster of fine artists, which also includes The Booth Brothers. "We've known Jim and Melissa for 11 years, since we first began scheduling The Booth Brothers," Ed Harper states. "While collectively, they are a new trio, Jim and Melissa have already established themselves to be credible artists with a heart for ministry. They have a uniqueness in that they have had the opportunity to test the waters, so to speak, and have been able to minister together, even when Jim was traveling full-time with The Booth Brothers."

The Harper Agency has enjoyed a wonderful partnership with The Booth Brothers for over a decade and obviously, it was important to have the blessing of The Booth Brothers before embarking upon a scheduling agreement. Thankfully, the blessing was bestowed. "We are equally excited that Jim and Melissa's trio will be a part of the Harper Agency. Ed Harper and the Harper Agency have effectively managed the schedule of The Booth Brothers for 11 years, and I know they will be a tremendous asset to Jim and Melissa."

"I believe Michael and Ronnie consider The Jim Brady Trio to be an extension of The Booth Brothers' ministry," Ed shared. "They have that kind of friendship, and that is definitely important. We are honored to have the opportunity to work with and represent such an outstanding couple. We are anxious to see who they name as the third member of the Trio, and we look forward to being a part of their future for many years."

The Harper Agency may be reached by calling 615-851-4500 or visiting www.harperagency.com. The Agency is currently scheduling dates for 2015 for The Jim Brady Trio. Additional information regarding The Jim Brady Trio is available online at www.BradyHouseMusic.com.

Brian Free and Assurance brings the “Say Amen” story to life

(Hendersonville, TN – July 25, 2014) After the success of their first concept video, Brian Free and Assurance has recently been back behind the camera again, diligently working on the release of the group’s second such effort for the increasingly-popular song “Say Amen.”

“Say Amen” was penned by Kenna West, Jason Cox and Michael Farren, and it’s the first release on the group’s latest project, “Unashamed.” The song has rapidly risen to the No. 2 position on the Singing News Magazine Top 80 Chart in just its fourth month since the song’s release. It debuted at No. 32 before rising to the ninth position in its second month and then elevating to the No. 3 spot for August.

The male quartet previously comprised an award-winning concept video for the 2012 song, “I Want To Be That Man,” which was co-written by Ricky Free and Lee Black.

“Brian Free and Assurance keeps delivering amazing songs on every project,” Daywind Records vice president and A & R director Scott Godsey – who served as the producer and director of the video – explains. “We are thankful for the opportunity to work with these guys on the ‘Say Amen’ video production. Our hope is that this video will go beyond our normal borders and branch out to new media sources. This is without a doubt one of the best songs that I've heard in Southern Gospel Music.”

Brian Free and Assurance is a Daywind Records recording artist, and Daywind held a contest in April that encouraged fans to send in their testimonies, telling what God had done for them to make them “Say Amen.” The winner of the contest was Jim Hutson – a Columbus, Ind., resident – who has part of his story unfold in the video.

Filming for the video took place in the Gallatin and Hendersonville areas, which are suburbs of Nashville, Tenn.

“We had an amazing time recording the new video,” points out Brian Free, the group’s manager and tenor singer. When you watch the video or hear this song, just think about all of the things God has done in your life.”

Daywind Records is home to an award-winning roster of artists, including Greater Vision, Karen Peck and New River, Legacy Five and the Nelons. Daywind is distributed to retail through New Day Christian Distributors, Select-O-Hits, and all major digital outlets, including iTunes. Perrys Complete Debut Release with StowTown Records

NASHVILLE, TN (March 20, 2014) – The Perrys, undisputedly one of the most legendary groups in Southern Gospel history, have reached yet another milestone by completing their first recording in the studio with StowTown Records.

When it comes to new music releases this year, The Perrys’ “Into His Presence” CD is the one that fans and industry insiders alike have been waiting to hear, and the project hits retailon April 8, 2014. StowTown co-founders Ernie Haase and Wayne Haun (also the producer of the project) have been just as eager for this day to come, since they celebrated the signing of The Perrys to an exclusive contract on October 28, 2013.

Highly awarded during their 41-year fascinating career, The Perrys’ roster currently includes Libbi Perry Stuffle—the unforgettable alto who carries on the family legacy, along with her husband and beloved bass singer Tracy Stuffle, their son Jared (JK) Stuffle representing a new generation on bass vocals, lead singer David Ragan, and baritone Bryan Walker.

"I Can Trust Him" has already been shipped to radio as the debut single from the CD, and now fans can finally hear the rest of the story, since they have been eagerly watching the project unfold through posts by group members on social media. Few artists can claim a more devoted group of listeners, and this fan base has become even more loyal during the past year of praying The Perrys through new challenges and opportunities during the ongoing recovery of Tracy Stuffle after his initial stroke in January, 2013. Libbi Stuffle is quick to say that the eleven songs on the project “no doubt came from the Lord,” and it is her prayer that the songs “uplift, encourage and strengthen His children,” just as they have ministered to her.

To kick off the project’s release to retail and this new chapter for The Perrys, a release party for “Into His Presence” will be held on April 8, 2014, at LifeWay Christian Store in Hendersonville, TN. The festivities begin at 6:30 PM with a live performance by The Perrys, followed by a meet–and–greet, and CD signing opportunity for fans.

MTQ ANNOUNCES NEW RECORDING LABEL AND NEW PROJECT FOR THE NEW YEAR!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

While the Christian world gathers together to celebrate the birth of Jesus our Savior, most seem to be very excited about a new year and what it will bring.  The Mark Trammell Quartet is equally excited about two new areas of growth and opportunity as they enter their 12th year of professional music ministry.

First thing is the formation of their own recording label "Crimson Road Productions."  Mark Trammell states, "In light of the ever changing status of our end of the recording industry and the specialized music interests we have been invited to be a part of.  We feel it is time to yet again stretch our wings and accept the challenge of not only broadening our own horizons but also working toward helping others reach for their dreams.  I have personally enjoyed almost two decades of being a part of the Daywind Family Of Artists and we leave them with nothing but thankfulness.  After 40 years of being in the recording industry, I have some ideas of my own that I would like to try.  Bottom line, we have peace in our hearts that now is the time to begin yet another new chapter in the multi-faceted life of this ministry."

Mark, along with long time ministry friend and partner, Jeff Haney will begin the process of developing the framework of the new label effective January 2, 2014.

Second and most exciting is the much anticipated release of the new project "YOUR WALK TALKS" by MTQ which will be the first release for the Crimson Road label.   MTQ is also very excited that  Susan Whisnant Radio Promotions will be the driving force behind the labels radio promotion with the first single to be released in the coming months.

From Mark Trammell Quartet and Crimson Road Productions
we would like to wish all of you a
MERRY CHRISTMAS and a

HAPPY AND CHRIST FILLED NEW YEAR!!!

The Perrys Sign Exclusive Agreement with StowTown Records

NASHVILLE, TN (October 28, 2013) - StowTown Records is honored to announce the exclusive signing of The Perrys -- undisputedly one of the leading names in Southern Gospel music -- to its growing family of artists.

Inked during a celebration at the offices of Provident/Sony Distribution, this new partnership -- between the legendary Perrys and StowTown founders Ernie Haase and Wayne Haun -- is a natural outgrowth of the mutual respect, friendship and admiration built throughout the years they've shared stages across the country. Haase is quick to explain his excitement about the signing: “I have known Libbi and Tracy for about 20 years now. They are my favorite kind of people -- humble and full of the love of Jesus. It is my honor to finally get to work with them. I believe the best is yet to come!”

One of the most-awarded groups in Southern Gospel music during their storied 41-year career, The Perrys’ roster currently includes Libbi Perry Stuffle -- the unforgettable alto who carries on the family legacy, her husband and beloved bass singer Tracy Stuffle, their son Jared (JK) Stuffle -- assisting on bass vocals, lead singer David Ragan, and baritone Bryan Walker.

2013 has been a challenging year for The Perrys, with the ongoing recovery of Tracy Stuffle after his initial stroke in January. However, Tracy's recent return to selected dates and featured songs with the group serves as a picture of grace and hope to the prayer warriors who have joined The Perrys on this journey of faith. Tracy -- who signed the contract himself -- is clearly grateful: “Lib and I, along with our guys, Bryan, David, and JK, are so excited about our joint venture with StowTown Records and Provident/Sony Distribution. We look forward to many years of a lasting relationship with both companies. We have always had a wonderful relationship with our long-time producer Wayne Haun, and are excited that this new chapter will still include him. We are very
much looking forward to what the Lord and the future is gonna hold for The Perrys.”

Their new project is expected to release in March 2014, so fans should follow The Perrys on social media for updates on the recording process, as well as upcoming concerts, events, and Tracy's recovery. Libbi's heartfelt updates and prayer postings on Facebook have also become a must-read for both new and long-time fans of the group.

Dixie Melody Boys Announce Lead Singer

The Dixie Melody Boys are excited to announce one of Gospel music’s best lead singers, Josh Garner, as their new member. The group began their search over two months ago when Mike Rogers resigned and had them listening to over 400 demos and auditioning numerous men. “This has been different than most of the times I have hired someone to fill a position. We heard so many great singers and we even thought we had found the right man a few times but it just wasn‘t the right fit.” said Ed O’Neal. “I have always loved Josh’s voice. I have even tried to hire him a few times in the past but the timing was never right. I am thrilled to have him join us.” added Ed.
The fans of Gospel music will remember Josh as the last lead singer for the Florida Boys as well as from the Gaither Homecoming Series. For the last five years he has been with Freedom, a trio that he founded with John Rulapaugh. Josh has been nominated numerous times as Favorite Lead Singer and is widely acknowledged as one of Gospel music’s all-time great lead singers. “Josh called me and offered to help us by filling in until we could find someone. It made looking for someone easy knowing he was on stage with us until we found the right person. His first night with us felt as if we had been singing together for years. Over the next few weeks both he and the group knew the right guy for the job was already there. Josh is a great addition to our team. I know the fans will be excited about seeing him with us.” stated Matt Felts.
The Dixie Melody Boys have already been in the studio with Josh and will release the new album soon. The project comes off the success of their fiftieth anniversary album, The Call Is Still The Same, and promises to be a hit. Josh will join the group mid August and will appear with them for the first time at NQC on Tuesday and Wednesday night. To check the Dixie Melody Boys schedule go to

Harper Agency Adds Old Paths To Artist Roster

Goodlettsville, TN - One of Christian music’s leading booking agencies, The Harper Agency, has announced the signing of popular quartet, The Old Paths. The announcement comes on the heels of the group’s recent Number One national hit, “God’s Great,” their second Number One national hit from their Right Now recording on Crossroads Music’s Sonlite Records label. The song peaked at Number One in the June issue of The Singing News Magazine. Sonlite Records President, Chris White is thrilled with the success of the group’s debut release on the Sonlite label. “When I first heard the Old Paths, I knew immediately that these guys were not just another quartet,” White says.  ”It's a rarity these days to discover an artist who you believe possesses all the main ingredients to succeed quickly.  Now with two Number One songs to their credit in less than a year, they have drawn the attention they deserve.  I trust and believe that their talents will be relevant in our business, for years to come and, I'm glad the Harper Agency will be a part of this process.”

Based in Atlanta, GA, Old Paths is actually paving a new path into national prominence with numerous hit songs, as well as national award nominations. Most recently, the group received five nominations when the 2013 Singing News Fan Awards’ Top 5 nominations were announced, including New Traditional Quartet. The group also received seven nominations for the 2013 NQC Music Awards, including Favorite Male Group.

The Harper Agency is pleased to add The Old Paths  to their roster of fine artists, which also includes numerous other notable quartets.  “My dad, who founded The Harper Agency in 1986, was a member of  The Oak Ridge Boys for 12 years,” Ed Harper, President of The Harper Agency, states. “As a result of Dad’s love for four-part harmony, our agency has a rich tradition of representing quality quartets. The Old Paths help us continue that tradition. They have been around for quite a while, but they have recently begun to make a real impact in so many areas. They have received major endorsements from such prominent pastors as  Dr Jerry Vines and Dr Charles Stanley, which is a great testament to their desire for ministry, as well as their exceptional talent. We are honored to have the opportunity to work with and represent such an outstanding group of young men. We look forward to being a part of their future for many years.”

For Old Paths, joining the Harper Agency is just one more step in the right direction for this talented quartet. “We are honored and humbled by the recent success of our ministry, and all the glory is given to the Lord, Jesus Christ,” Old Paths’ baritone, Douglas Roark shares. “We are thankful for the support of our families, friends, fans and diligence of the Crossroads Music team. Along with that success there's been a greater demand for scheduling. We're delighted to announce an agreement with the renowned Harper Agency! With their shared interest in keeping the Gospel of Christ at the forefront, we have every confidence that we can better focus on the day to day task of the ministry and allow more time with our families when we’re home. We are so looking forward to what we believe God has in store.”

The Harper Agency may be reached by calling 615-851-4500 or visiting www.harperagency.com. The Agency is currently scheduling 2013 and 2014 dates for Old Paths. Additional information regarding Old Paths is available online at www.theoldpathsonline.com.

Tracy Stuffle Benefit For July 29th

Dixie Melody Boys Announce New Lead Singer

With the departure of Mike Rogers, the Dixie Melody Boys have been searching for the last few weeks for a new lead singer. Over 300 men applied, applications coming in from all parts of America as well as 3 countries including London, England. “We listened to each demo and prayed that God would send us the right fit for where the group is headed. There were so many great singers, many already established names in Gospel music so it was hard to narrow them down.” Said Matt Felts. After sorting through the overwhelming response, the group auditioned ten men. “Each one brought something completely different and special to the table. We took a different approach than usual and had the men spend the day with us and all go to lunch together. It was a great way to get to know them more.”  Added Ed O’Neal.  “I met a young man at NQC last year and he stuck in my mind. We invited him in last week to audition. His voice was powerful and anointed but his personality instantly fit right in.  After the last man left, we talked and decided to offer him the job. We are excited to announce Austin Foster as the new lead singer for the Dixie Melody Boys” said Matt Felts.

Austin Foster is 18 years old and from Birmingham, Alabama. Austin is the son of well-known promoter and radio host Ron Foster.  Austin has been singing for years and has appeared with Michael English and many others on stage. “We are excited to have Austin with us. I know  the fans will love him. He is true Southern Gospel and a great young man. His ability to sing the great songs of the past as well as the newer songs we do makes him a unique talent.” Said Ed O’Neal.  Austin had this to say regarding joining the legendary group, “I am super excited to sing with the Dixie Melody Boys. I have been listening to these guys all my life. It is an honor to share the stage with them. “

The Dixie Melody Boys have been known for breaking new talent into the industry. Unlike any other, Ed O’Neal has had an eye for talent and has introduced McCray Dove, Rodney Griffin, Devin McGlamery, Harold Reed, Ernie Haase and so many others to Gospel music.  “His ability to maintain one of the top groups year after year while launching so many young men’s career is amazing. While others look for singers in other groups, Ed gives new faces a chance and cultivates Gospel music for years to come.  That is an incredible legacy to leave behind. Austin is sure to add to that rich tapestry. “ Said David Staton, Executive V.P.  of Song Garden Music Group.

The Dixie Melody Boys will back in the studio in June to finish their new album which will feature new members Aaron Dishman and Austin Foster. For more information, go to www.dixiemelodyboys.com.  The Dixie Melody Boys would like to thank Josh Garner from Freedom for filling in while they searched for a new lead singer

IMC Concerts Announce CATHEDRALS FAMILY REUNION Concert

We have some exciting news that we can't wait to share with you! We thought the best way to do this is to let you watch the announcement on video below as it is released! Brought to you from IMC! This was recorded today on April 15th during a press conference in Nashville, TN!

From LANDON BEENE the President and CEO of IMC.

Today, I am proud to announce a very exciting event.

Partnering together with Brian Hudson of Showcase Management, the team at IMC Management and Concerts is THRILLED TO ANNOUNCE plans for the “Cathedrals Family Reunion” Event scheduled for the fall of 2013.

The Cathedral Quartet was the most loved and most popular Gospel Quartet of their generation and their legacy lives on with some of today's most popular Gospel Artists. Scott Fowler, Danny Funderburk, Ernie Haase, Mark Trammell, and Gerald Wolfe travelled with the Cathedrals during the height of their popularity.

Now, for the first time in almost two decades, these Artists come together for an unforgettable event, reliving the music and memories from the "Golden Age" of the Cathedrals.

When searching for a home for this event, it didn’t take long to realize the significance of Texas in regards to shape note and quartet style music. The home of this event will be FORT WORTH, TX! This central location will draw Cathedrals Quartet lovers from all over with it’s convenient location as we all come together to relive and celebrate this legendary, iconic group which has touched so many lives over the years!

The Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary will play host to this event in their brand new 3500 seat “MacGorman Performing Arts Center”! The people of Fort Worth and the Seminary are VERY exited about this event!

The dates for the CATHEDRALS FAMILY REUNION event are Nov 8th and 9th, 2013, including 3 unique sessions plus several exciting extra activities all themed around the Cathedral Quartet! Registrations for this event will begin on Monday, June 3rd at 10:00 AM EST.

Attendees will get to experience the sounds of the current groups represented from the Cathedrals Alumni such as Greater Vision, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Legacy Five and Mark Trammell Quartet as well as several “reunion moments” on every unique session of the event.

There will be several surprises and activities for the attendees but I can tell you a few things: In addition to the great reunion concert sessions, we will have memorabilia of the Cathedral Quartet on display, a time of question and answers with the guys, as well as a chance to see and tour bus of the Cathedrals known as the “Silhouette” at the event, parked outside just like fans would see at a Cathedral Quartet concert. Not only will it be on display but you’ll have the opportunity to tour this bus that Glen and George traveled MILLIONS of miles in!

It has been a personal dream of mine, as well as all of you, to see all of these guys, as well as their current groups participate in a reunion style event once again since that unforgettable night when the Cathedrals said “goodbye” in 1999. Now, because of these gentlemen sitting here and their support... This dream will become a reality.

For further information, you can visit any of the groups' websites, social media pages and also at the website www.CATHEDRALFAMILYREUNION.COM

An Open Letter from Pastor Bill Bailey, Perrys Personal Manager

February 15, 2013

Dear Friends,

As The Perry’s personal manager, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your prayers, concern and support during Tracy’s ongoing health crisis.  We are standing in faith for complete healing and we appreciate you standing in agreement with us.

It’s with grateful hearts that I tell you there has been some improvement in Tracy’s condition over the past few days. With that being said, we have no way of knowing how long this journey will take or how long it will be before Libbi and Tracy are traveling with the group. Libbi has been by Tracy’s side every step of the way and that is exactly where she wants and needs to be.

Joseph and Bryan, along with Leah Page, are fulfilling all of The Perrys’ engagements.   Leah is a phenomenal vocalist and has won several vocal competitions throughout the south.  Leah has been filling in for the past few weeks and the response has been incredible!  The group is doing the songs you love and expect to hear from The Perrys. With these three powerhouse vocals we know you won’t be disappointed.

Many of you have asked what you can do to help.  We ask for your continued support of this group.   If you’re a promoter or pastor we want you to know that the Harper Agency will continue to book The Perrys and we appreciate your willingness to have them on your programs and in your churches. The agency can be contacted at 615-851-4500 or via email at info@harperagency.com .   If you’re a fan, please make every effort to attend and encourage them. Like most full time groups, this is their only means of support.  We know the last thing any of us want is for Libbi and Tracy to be worried about finances during this season.

The Perrys truly appreciate all of you and can’t imagine walking this journey without your love and prayers.  It’s in times like these that we understand what it truly means to be a part of the “family of God”.  We can’t thank you enough for all that you’ve done and will continue to do.

Sincerely,

Pastor Bill Bailey
Personal Manager, The Perrys

Tracy Stuffle Update

A note from Bill Bailey on Tracy's condition:

Hello Perrys' Partners,

My name is Bill Bailey.  Many of you may know me from my concert promotions (Bill Bailey Concerts) and being the pastor of Happy Gospel Church in Bradenton, FL.  But I have also handled the personal management for the Perrys for the past nine years, and Tracy and Libbi Stuffle are two of my best friends.

As many of you may be aware, Tracy Stuffle suffered a stroke this past Monday, January 21st in downtown Nashville, TN.  He has been in critical condition since then, with Libbi by his side.  We are asking you to put Tracy and Libbi, along with the group, on your personal and church prayer list.  Tracy definitely needs a miracle!  Rather than going through the specific details, I encourage you to follow Libbi's updates at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/tracystuffle.  She will post once or twice a day, depending on Tracy's developments.  You can also like The Perrys' fan page on Facebook, and stay up to date that way.

Many people have been asking what they can do tangibly to help Libbi.  Our first request, obviously, is to cry out to God on Tracy's behalf.  The Perrys definitely believe in the power of prayer, and thank you for standing with us!  Secondarily, a fund has been set up at Tracy and Libbi's home church, College Heights Baptist Church in Gallatin, TN, to assist Libbi and the family with the extra out-of-pocket expenses during this time.  If you would like to give a special offering, please make your check payable to College Heights Baptist Church, and be sure to place in the memo and envelope: "Tracy Stuffle Fund / The Perrys".  Send it to:

College Heights Baptist Church
Att: Tracy Stuffle Fund / The Perrys
2100 Nashville Pike

Gallatin, TN 37066

Libbi would like to thank the entire gospel music community for their outpouring of love and prayers during this very difficult time.  Believe me when I say that God has given this woman a special anointing and grace to walk thru these days by Tracy's side.  She also would like to especially thank all of the churches and concert promoters who have been so gracious while she stays at the hospital with Tracy.  Joseph and Bryan are continuing to travel and fulfill all of the Perrys' concert dates, with another female singer for Libbi's part.  Although a regular replacement has not been named, please know that the Perrys will continue to travel and carry on that great gospel music tradition that they have been known for.  And Libbi wants everyone to know that her and Tracy will be back soon!   Please go out and support the Perrys during this season, and let Joe and Bryan know that you are supporting and praying for them, as well.  The complete Perrys' schedule is available on our web site at http://www.perrysministries.com.

As you can imagine, there is no possible way that Libbi can respond to the many emails, phone calls, and messages that she has been receiving.  Thank you for your understanding, prayers, and continued support of the Perrys.  God's grace is sufficient, and we are trusting Him for a complete healing and restoration for Tracy.  Thank you for standing with us!

On behalf of Libbi and the Perrys,
Pastor Bill Bailey
(941) 545-4583

P.S.  Another way that you can support the Perrys is by purchasing their product at their online store at http://www.perrysministries.com.  Their latest album, "Through the Night" is currently available.

Tracy Stuffle Has Stroke

BFA DEBUTS "I WANT TO BE THAT MAN" MUSIC VIDEO

Douglasville, GA (November 27, 2012) - The southern gospel group Brian Free and Assurance has released its very first music video of the hit single, "I Want To Be That Man."  Debuting on the national charts at number 28, the song has quickly become a fan favorite, reflecting the song's resonance with the group's loyal fan base.

When Brian Free first listened to the demo to "I Want To Be That Man," his first thought was of his father, a gentle Christian man who lived his faith, making his Lord and his family his greatest priorities. Since Brian makes a practice of listening to potential new material without knowing the identity of the writer, he was touched and humbled to discover that the song had been co-written by his oldest son Ricky.

Brian says of this song, "We as fathers need to realize the role we play in the family, especially in this day and time.  We need to love and respect our wives, as Christ loves and respects the church, as the Lord God commands us, and stand firm on the Word of God without compromise. This song truly is my testimony."

BFA's singing scenes were filmed on the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge in Nashville.  Be sure to share the pertinent message of this video with your friends and family!  Just copy and paste this link into an email or Facebook account to share the video:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8mC5Uaikaw

The song "I Want To Be That Man" can be heard on current southern gospel radio and can also be found on their current project, Nothing But Love.  For more information or to visit the group website - click here.

NATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION ANNOUNCES THE NQC AWARDSACM AWARD WINNER GORDON MOTE TO CELEBRATE THE SEASON WITH THE STAR STILL SHINES

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 25, 2012) - New Haven Records and RSI Music Group have announced that Academy of Country Music award-winner Gordon Mote's new Christmas project, The Star Still Shines, will hit store shelves October 16. The holiday CD combines Southern Gospel, inspirational, and country music-flavored renditions of new and traditional Christmas songs and carols, including Michael W. Smith's classic "Emmanuel" and Steven Curtis Chapman's "Christmas Is All In the Heart."

Most of the tracks on The Star Still Shines feature Mote's warm, engaging vocals, and the musician's award-winning keyboard prowess can be heard on such instrumental interludes as "O Little Town of Bethlehem," "Away In A Manger," and "O Come, O Come Emmanuel." The first single from the project, an exhilarating vocal/keyboard arrangement of "Go Tell It On the Mountain," releases to radio in November.

"I remember the first Christmas with my wife, Kimberly. We had a little 700-square foot apartment in Nashville and a scrawny little 'Charlie Brown' Christmas tree. We crammed our friends and family into that tiny living room, dimmed the lights and sang Christmas carols. What sweet days those were … simple, yet so full," Mote reflects. "Now that we have children of our own, we are blessed with new memories. It is our prayer that as you listen to these songs, you, too, will sit back and think of all you have to be thankful for this Christmas."

"From poignant to powerful, this CD celebrates the 'Christ' in Christmas in the fresh, creative, and heartfelt manner that has made Gordon one of the brightest emerging artists in music today," says Ken Harding, president of New Haven Records. "It's the kind of fun, yet meaningful, music you want playing while you decorate the tree or sit down for Christmas dinner. We are thrilled to bring the world another extraordinary project from this amazing artist."

The Star Still Shines is New Haven's second Gordon Mote release in 2012, following Songs I Grew Up Singing, an inspiring musical diary of landmark songs that not only shaped his music and ministry, but also inspired a generation of Gospel music lovers. Singles from that project include Mote's renditions of the Hinson's hit "Call Me Gone" and the Gaither classic, "This Is the Time I Must Sing."

NATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION ANNOUNCES THE NQC AWARDSMatt Fouch To join legacy five

“For the past eight years I have had the great opportunity to travel and sing with the guys of Soul'd Out Quartet (SOQT). These men are high character individuals and it has been a pleasure to sing along side them. God has blessed SOQT and I am very thankful for the many friends I have made and the opportunities God has given through the ministry of SOQT.

With that said, after much prayer, thought and consultation with my wife, I have decided to resign my position with SOQT and join the Legacy Five team.

It is an honor and a privilege to join L5. These men have a wonderful calling on their lives and do a fantastic job. They are men of integrity and I couldn't be happier to join their ranks. I'm excited to see where God leads and what He does in this new season of my life.

My family and I are thankful for your prayers and support, and I ask that you keep SOQT and L5 in your prayers as He leads both groups in the calling He has placed on their lives. God bless!”

 Matt Fouch

Soul’d Out Quartet’s Matt Rankin says, “Soul'd Out Quartet wishes to thank Matt Fouch for 8 years of service to the Lord and the group. We have been a part of seeing many come to Christ in those years. We have been a part of watching God's hand at work and have watched him supply the group's needs time and time again. We hate to see Matt leave Soul'd Out but we trust that God is leading this decision. We will be in prayer for a replacement and will continue our prayers and support for Matt Fouch, his family, and Legacy 5.  Though change is many times difficult, the big picture is that we all are trying to serve the King. With that said, thank you Matt for making Soul'd Out a better group while you were here. We love you. God bless.

Legacy Five’s Scott Fowler comments, “Seasons of life change for us all.  Change is never easy but it is inevitable. The older I get, the less I like change, but with change comes the excitement of seeing what new and refreshing doors God opens for us. We are really looking forward to Matt’s contribution to Legacy Five, both on and off the stage.  To Matt, Dusty, Michael and Bryan of Soul’d Out, I want to say how much I have appreciated how gracious and kind they have been to Legacy Five and Matt during this time of transition.  I cannot remember when two groups have had this type of cooperation in a situation like this.  They are truly good men and I have great respect for them”

Matt Fouch will officially join Legacy Five on September 1.

NATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION ANNOUNCES THE NQC AWARDSTHE ISAACS BRING HOME 2012 GMA DOVE AWARD

Family Group Garners Standing Ovation Following Their Debut Performance on DOVE Awards Telecast

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — April 25, 2012 — Gospel music favorites The Isaacs took home the award for Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year at this year’s Gospel Music Association (GMA) DOVE Awards. Honored for their rendition of “Mama’s Teaching Angels How to Sing,” The Isaacs acknowledged the influence and legacy of the song’s writer, the late Dottie Rambo.

“We learned this song in order to sing it at Dottie’s memorial service and ‘Homegoing,’” recalled Lily Isaacs. “It quickly became a favorite of ours, and we wanted to record it. Dottie left us with so many musical treasures, and it is a privilege to record her work.”

“This was a special honor for us,” stated Ben Isaacs. “Anytime your peers and those making music around you week in and week out choose to recognize something you have done is a special moment. We appreciate the support of the voters and of everyone at the show who welcomed us with open arms.”

Those open arms turned into a standing ovation from an excited audience as The Isaacs made their debut performance on the awards, performing “Walk On,” a song from their DOVE Award-winning release Big Sky (Gaither Music Group). Complete with banjo, standup bass, fiddle, mandolin, guitar and cajon, The Isaacs belted out the acoustic number, combined with moments that highlighted their hair-raising acapella strains.

In addition to Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year, the GRAMMY-nominated Isaacs received nominations for Group of the Year and Artist of the Year. The group is currently enjoying a Top 10 single, the title cut from the release Why Can’t We (Gaither Music Group), which also contains the number one country hit by Martina McBride “I’m Gonna Love You Through It.” The song was written by Isaacs’ members Jimmy Yeary and Sonya Isaacs Yeary along with Ben Hayslip as a tribute to Lily Isaacs’ battle and victory over breast cancer. Why Can’t We, produced by Ben Isaacs, showcases the family’s moving harmonies, bluegrass-infused melodies and skilled musicianship.

NATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION ANNOUNCES THE NQC AWARDSLegacy Five Debuts new concept video "ask me why"

Nashville, TN - After weeks of waiting, fans finally get the chance to see the official music video release of Legacy Five’s “Ask Me Why.” It is based on the true story of a woman named Patty and her daughter Hannah who came to know the Lord after accidentally showing up at a Legacy Five concert.

The video is already gaining buzz on YouTube with exponential growth in hits, comments, and shares on Facebook. L5 celebrates the release along with cover stories in both Singing News Magazine and SGN Scoops this month.

Patty Davenport Bahhur is actually featured in the video as a woman going through hardship and finding grace. Scott Fowler, lead singer, tells the story of how Patty stumbled upon the Celebration Event at the Grand Ole Opry with her daughter and looked to the group for answers. When she was given the wrong tickets to an event she thought would be the Opry show, she noticed something strikingly different about the concert. The people looked happy.

“She went on to tell me that her husband is a Muslim and that she was not accustomed to being around so many people who seemed so happy. She again said to me, ‘So you see...we're not supposed to be here. We are here by accident. This is not the Grand Ole Opry show and I don't understand why everyone around here is so happy. What is this music all about?’” Said Fowler, recalling Patty’s story, “It was then I realized that this was a divine appointment, and God was giving me an incredible opportunity to tell this lady and her daughter why we were all so ‘happy.’”

The video takes place at the Franklin Historic Presbyterian Church featuring a congregation comprised of L5 fans who volunteered to be extras. “Ask Me Why” was penned by Kenna Turner West, who made an appearance at the filming along with Jim Brady of The Booth Brothers and Les Butler of Singing News.

"L5 is great to work with," said producer Scott Godsey of Godsey and Associates. "Throughout the filming process, I could tell that they got it.  They are the real deal."

NATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION ANNOUNCES THE NQC AWARDSNATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION ANNOUNCES THE NQC AWARDS

Louisville, KY – The National Quartet Convention has announced the creation of a brand new awards presentation called the NQC Music Awards. In partnership with the Southern Gospel Music Guild, NQC plans to present these awards on Friday afternoon during the Friday afternoon Showcase Spectaculars in Freedom Hall.

“This awards presentation will be unique in several ways,” states Clarke Beasley, NQC Executive Vice President. “I believe we can expect a very large voting base to participate and much interest will be generated by the fact that awards will be given in both fan popularity and professional excellence divisions.”

There will be two divisions of awards that will be presented. The first division will be the Fan Awarded categories where awards will be determined by fan voting. To participate in the voting, all that is required is to sign up on the NQC e-mail list. There is no purchase of anything required. The second division will be the Industry Awarded Categories which will be determined by the music professionals that participate as exhibitors during the National Quartet Convention.

The Southern Gospel Music Guild is an important partner in this process in that the SGMG will determine the category criteria as well as screen entries for eligibility. The SGMG professional membership will also determine the recipient of the annual Les Beasley Award, given to a person or company that has made a significant impact in the field of Gospel Music.

To participate in the voting of the NQC Music Awards by signing up on the NQC e-mail list, just go to www.nqconline.com. A complete schedule of events set to take place during the 2012 National Quartet Convention may also be obtained there.

About the 2012 National Quartet Convention: This year marks the 55th Annual National Quartet Convention. The Convention has made its home in the city of Louisville since 1994. Approximately 40,000 people will attend the 2012 event, which takes place September 9-15, with at least 40 states and a half dozen foreign countries represented. The Convention is Christian music's largest marketplace and largest annual event with more than 500 exhibitors and nearly 300 Southern Gospel recording artists in attendance. Seats for daily and evening performances may be purchased at the NQC office, online at www.nqconline.com or on site during the week of the Convention in the North Wing lobby at the Kentucky Expo Center.

About the Southern Gospel Music Guild: In 1986, several Southern Gospel music leaders decided the industry needed an organization to foster the growth of the Southern Gospel music genre. Through the years, the Guild has grown to include every facet of the Southern Gospel music industry, encompassing artists (full-time and part-time), record companies, radio, promoters, publishers, distributors, talent management, media representatives, and booking agents. These professionals work together collectively to expand the economic base of the Southern Gospel Music industry.

KAREN PECK MAKES BIG SCREEN DEBUT IN "JOYFUL NOISE"

KAREN PECK MAKES BIG SCREEN DEBUT IN "JOYFUL NOISE"

Los Angeles, CA – Karen Peck Gooch makes her official debut on the big screen Friday, January 13, 2012 in the Alcon Entertainment’s and Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Joyful Noise,” a funny and inspirational story of music, hope, love and renewal. The film also stars Oscar® nominees Queen Latifah (“Chicago,” “Hairspray”) and Dolly Parton (“Transamerica,” “Steel Magnolias,” “Nine to Five”).

The small town of Pacashau, Georgia, has fallen on hard times, but the people are counting on the Divinity Church Choir to lift their spirits by winning the National Joyful Noise Competition. The choir has always known how to sing in harmony, but the discord between its two leading ladies now threatens to tear them apart. Their newly appointed director, Vi Rose Hill (Latifah), stubbornly wants to stick with their tried-and-true traditional style, while the fiery G.G. Sparrow (Parton) thinks tried-and-true translates to tired-and-old.

Shaking things up even more is the arrival of G.G.’s rebellious grandson, Randy (Jeremy Jordan). Randy has an ear for music, but he also has an eye for Vi Rose’s beautiful and talented daughter, Olivia (Keke Palmer), and the sparks between the two teenagers are causing even more heat between G.G. and Vi Rose.

If these two strong-willed women can overcome their differences and find a common voice, they—and their choir—may make the most joyful noise of all. Karen is featured as the leader of the host choir at the National Joyful Noise Competition.

The musically driven story brings together the sounds of gospel, pop, country, rock and R & B with memorable songs, performed by the cast, from a wide range of artists, including Michael Jackson, Usher, Chris Brown, Paul McCartney, Sly & the Family Stone and Stevie Wonder. Dolly Parton also wrote original songs for the film, including “Not Enough (Love)” and “From Here to the Moon.” Gooch performs the Mighty Clouds of Joy classic, “Mighty High.” Five-time Grammy Award winner Mervyn Warren composed the score.

The “Joyful Noise” soundtrack released on Tuesday, January 10th and includes musical selections from the movie as well as “Mighty High,” performed by Karen. During release week, Karen spent time at the “Joyful Noise” Premiere in Los Angeles, CA, at the Atlanta, GA screening with KeKe Palmer and Kirk Franklin and in Nashville, TN at a private screening for industry leaders, media and contest winners.

Karen is the founding member of the Southern Gospel trio Karen Peck & New River and in 2011 celebrated 20 years in the music industry. ISAACS "WHY CAN'T WE"THE AWARD-WINNING ISAACS RELEASE NEW STUDIO RECORDING
"WHY CAN'T WE"

New Release Celebrates Country Hit "I'm Gonna Love You Through It"
Content for Recording Comes from The Isaacs’ Personal Stories

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—November 1st— Gaither Music Group celebrates today’s release of Why Can’t We, the all-new, studio recording by the award-winning Isaacs. Produced by group member and acclaimed producer Ben Isaacs, the new release, which was recorded in Nashville, follows the group’s previous recording Naturally, which remained in the Top 10 BILLBOARD Bluegrass Chart for over 71 weeks following its debut.

Group member Sonya Isaacs Yeary and husband, Jimmy Yeary, along with group member Becky Isaacs Bowman, penned nine of the songs for this release. One of those new songs, penned by the Yearys with songwriter Ben Hayslip, is “I’m Gonna Love You Through It,” the current hit country single by country star Martina McBride.

“I was writing with Ben Hayslip and Sonya,” recalls Jimmy, “and Sonya had this idea of writing about her mom's (Lily’s) story of surviving breast cancer. We threw around some thoughts as to how we’d approach it. We decided to let Lily tell her story, so we put her on speaker phone, and she just really told her story in detail. We based the song on that. It took us about three hours to write it. It can be difficult to put the word ‘cancer’ in a song, but we wanted to talk about breast cancer specifically and some of the hardships that come with that. We started writing it with no notion of what would happen with this song. We just loved writing it and getting it on paper. Then we got the call that Martina had heard it and loved it.”

Lily Isaacs and Becky Isaacs Bowman appear alongside Katy Couric, Sheryl Crow, Robin Roberts and Hoda Kotb, among others, in McBride’s video for the song.

“Sometimes when you record songs, what works in the studio may not translate to an audience,” explains Becky. “When we started writing for this record, we really had that in mind. The more that you are transparent about yourself, the more your audience can identify with you. We wanted to share our stories of survival and victories, so we wrote songs that dealt with things that we want to be transparent about in concert.”

For Becky that includes the song "Waiting in the Water," a song based on the Bible story of the blind man who had an encounter with Jesus and who was told to go to the pool and wash. “It was a two- mile journey to that well according to commentaries,” Becky describes, “and Jesus wasn’t about showmanship; but for some reason, He told the blind man to find his way to the water. I think Jesus wanted to see how strong the blind man's faith was and how obedient he was. Jesus would be waiting in the water.

“Some people are instantly healed,” continues Becky, who was diagnosed herself for ten years with a rare case of Crohns' disease causing inflammation to her eyes and nerve endings, “and some people have to take a journey of faith. I prayed and prayed for healing and felt hopeless so many times. I felt that, like the blind man, I would have to take a step of faith and believe that He would be ‘waiting for me in the water.’ This song is my healing story, and I have found that I can talk to people in a hopeless stage, whether it’s from a long-term illness or something else, because I have been there.”

The Isaacs continue their vulnerability on the release with the song "Why." “I think we are sometimes afraid to ask ‘why’ because we don’t want to question God,” explains Becky, “but when you look at David [in the Bible] and all of his mistakes and questions, you see that in the end God called him ‘a man after His own heart.’ I don't think God minds us asking questions. Sometimes they come from the heart...that is what God wants--a heart for Him. We all make mistakes like David did, but it's not how you start the race; it's how you finish the race with God.”

Why Can’t We also includes the cover tunes “I Still Trust You,” “Hallelujah Turnpike” and “I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvary.” The group created a rendition of “I Believe in a Hill Called Mount Calvary” to perform at the Tribute to the Songs of Bill and Gloria Gaither event that was held this year at Nashville’s Schermerhorn Symphony Center. The audience as well as Bill Gaither liked it so much the group knew it would be featured on the new recording.

“We like to put our twist on songs to make them sound like us,” says Ben. “You can copy others, but the things that make an impression in most any kind of music are the things that have been different. It’s ok to get the basics from inspiration; but from that, you need to be an original and find what makes a song sound like you.”

The group did just that with the bluegrass tune “Hallelujah Turnpike,” a song they were asked to learn for a tv special/tribute they were doing for the legendary Lewis Family. “We thought it was a fun song and down to the styling of the fiddle, we tried to emulate Buddy Spicher, really creating a tribute to The Lewis Family legacy.

“We thought it was time for a true ‘Isaacs’ band record,’” continues Ben, “I really like the title cut that says, ‘If God can forgive, then why can't we?’ People may forgive, but we don’t often forget, and we find it hard to let go. Musically, I think the track marries this song perfectly...sometimes you only get close to that during a recording.”

The Isaacs have a long history, however, of doing more than “getting close” while creating moving music. The group has received a GRAMMY® nomination, three GMA DOVE Award nominations including a win for Bluegrass Album of the Year and a 2011 nod for Christmas Album of the Year (Christmas, Gaither Music Group), two IBMA Award nominations, an ICM nom and an SPBGMA Award. They have also received fan award nominations for Band of the Year, Song of the Year, Favorite Mixed Group and Instrumentalist of the Year (Sonya); and Ben has won two IBMA Awards as a producer.

Why Can’t We is available everywhere Christian music is sold and is being distributed at retail and digitally through EMI CMG Distribution. The new recording will be positioned heavily at retail throughout the fall and winter alongside other Gaither Music Group releases and will be aired as part of a direct tv campaign on networks including GAC, RFD, INSP, GMC, TBN, FamilyNet, CTS, CTN, TCT, TLN, Airtime 1, GMTN, Grace, Legacy, Miracle and Vision.

HARPER AGENCY ADDS TALLEYS TO ARTIST ROSTERHARPER AGENCY ADDS TALLEYS TO ARTIST ROSTER

Goodlettsville, TN - One of Christian music’s leading booking agencies, The Harper Agency, has announced the signing of popular vocal group, The Talleys, to their talent roster. The announcement comes on the heels of yet another major change for The Talleys when they transitioned from a trio to a quartet in September with the addition of Brian Alvey. Alvey, who married multi-award winning group member, Lauren Talley, in June, made his official debut on stage with the family Labor Day weekend in Gatlinburg, TN. "Brian not only brings an impressive vocal ability to the group,” group manager, Roger Talley stated, “but he adds a new excitement to the stage with his proficiency as a multi-talented musician. We love his testimony and his heart for ministry."

The East Tennessee based musical family, consisting of the mother/father team of Roger and Debra Talley, as well as daughter, Lauren and now son-in-law, Brian, has enjoyed numerous honors and accolades over the years, including 10 Number one radio singles, making them one of Christian music’s most beloved families.

The Harper Agency is pleased to add The Talleys to their roster of fine artists, which also includes numerous notable family groups. “Being a family business,” Harper Agency representative, Jeff Harper comments, “we understand the dynamics of working together to achieve a common goal. The Talleys, with their unique sound, are a perfect example of what happens when family blends music and ministry harmoniously.”

Jeff’s brother, Ed Harper shared those sentiments.“I’ve known Roger and Debra for nearly 30 years, and of course, I love and admire Lauren’s exceptional vocal ability. We are honored to have the opportunity to work with and represent such an outstanding family. We look forward to being a part of their future for many years.”

Joining The Harper Agency marks a major change for the popular group, ending their long-time association with Fay Shedd and the Artist Direction Agency, who first began working with the senior Talleys in the early 1980s. “We would like to express our appreciation to Fay Shedd for the many years of hard work and friendship, but we are excited about the opportunity to work with the Harper Agency. We have long respected Ed and Jeff Harper, and we look forward to a new season of ministry. We encourage and invite all of our promoter and pastor friends across the country to contact the Harper Agency to reserve your place on the Talleys’ schedule.”

MartinsTHE UPS AND DOWNS: ED O'NEAL HONORED AND THEN INJURED

This weekend was one to remember in many ways. Thursday we were in Greenville, SC for the Grand Ole Gospel Reunion. It is an incredible event. Many of the legends of Southern Gospel music were there. We were to be in Hope, Arkansas on Friday and then back to Greenville on Saturday. What Ed didn't know was that we had to be back at 10 in the morning for a suprise "This Is Your Life" video honoring him. After insisting on the importance of us being on time Saturday and the lack of time to get back from Arkansas, our agent had a friends group fill the Friday date for us and we turned around and headed back to Grand Ole Gospel.

The video was wonderful. Ed was shocked and moved by the many friends who were there to make it special. Original Dixie Melody Boys founder and baritone Gene Payne was there as well as former members McCray Dove, Phil Barker, Rayburn Lane, Jonathan Price as well as Ed's children, four grandchildren and his son and daughter in laws. Th evideo was filled with laughter and tears as the rich legacy of Ed's career was told.

The next morning we were in Belmont, Mississippi for a homecoming service. After we set up the sound system, Ed was on his way back to the bus to change. The church had been doing some construction on the fellowship building and had removed some stairs that were on a back door. Ed was unaware of their absence and went to walk out the door. He fell 6 feet to the pavement below breaking his leg and cutting his hand severely. He was taken to the hospital and his leg was put in a brace and his hand received 8 stitches. We stayed at the church and sang the first service without him. When he arrived back, Matt told him he should stay in the bus and rest and that we could do the concert without him, the church understood. Ed refused and came in and did a full concert sitting on a stool, leg in a brace. It was inspirational and moving to the crowd and the group. Ed reminded everyone there that no matter the cost, the Gospel of Jesus must be told. He expects a quick recovery and will not miss any scheduled dates.

From videos to injuries, last weekend proved to be one no one involved will soon forget. Just think, all he ever wanted to do was sing a song.

Untill next time,
God bless
Ed (Battered but still singing), Matt, Donald and Steven

Randy CrawfordRANDY CRAWFORD TO UNDERGO HEART SURGERY

The Crossroads Music website (www.crossroadsmusic.com) is reporting that Kingsmen baritone, Randy Crawford.. has been off the road for the last week or so. He is fighting a staph infection in his heart and will most likely undergo surgery in August.  Randy tells reporters: "Starting in May of this year I began noticing a considerable drop in my energy levels. I mostly just sang and stayed in the bed each day while on the road. Towards the end of our west coast tour I began running a high fever that would not go away. After a trip to the doctor, and several tests, it was determined that I had a staph infection in the mitral valve of my heart."

When Crawford was ten years old.. he was was diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse... a condition that causes the valve of the heart to not close properly and allows some blood to flow backwards through the valve. Randy adds: "As the years have progressed it seems to have worsened. While investigating the infection in my system it was discovered that the valve not only had degraded further, it is going to require surgery to repair."

Jordan LeFevre (Mike's son)  has been filling for the Kingsmen..  during Randy Crawford's absence.

The MartinsAWARD-WINNING FAMILY TRIO THE MARTINS JOIN PRODUCER JAY DEMARCUS TO CELEBRATE A NEW ALBUM, NEW DVD AND A NEW DAY

All-New Gaither Music Group Recording to Hit Streets in June Along with Best of The Martins DVD

iTunes Pre-Sale of New Martins’ Release to Start Early June

NASHVILLE, Tenn.—June 2, 2011—Multiple award-winning Christian music icons The Martins have announced the June 21st release of their Gaither Music Group endeavor New Day, their first all-new recording in nearly a decade.  The project will be featured through a special pre-sale via iTunes, starting on June 7th.  Those who pre-buy the new 10-song recording during that time only will receive an additional free download.

Siblings and Arkansas natives Joyce, Jonathan and Judy teamed up for the recording with multi-platinum-selling Rascal Flatts member and producer Jay DeMarcus, whose studio credits also include rock luminaries Chicago, country favorite Jo Dee Messina and vocal powerhouse/frequent Martins collaborator Michael English.

“I’m a longtime fan of The Martins,” described DeMarcus.  “When we started talking about this, I was excited immediately.  They are some of the most talented singers I’ve heard, and to get to be a part of creating something with them was a thrill.  I am very proud of this release.”

“I think our main goal going was trying to find that balance between being The Martins that everybody recognized, and at the same time, have the edge we’ve always been known for musically,” stated Judy.  “Jay has such high energy that it’s contagious, and he pulls things out of you that you never thought you could possibly do without making it feel impossible.”

That balance includes the songs:  “Love Enough” (Barry Weeks, Tony Wood and Chad Chates), “Tell Them That I Love Them” (Carl Cartee, Gina Boe and Kenna West), “Good To Me” (Barry Weeks, Tony Wood and Jim Brady), “All the Love in the World” (Joe Don Rooney, Jason Sellers and Tim Nichols), “Unredeemed” (Brian Petak, Chad Cates and Tony Wood), “The Truth” (Brian White, Ian Ashley Eskelin, Steven A. Dean), “Somebody Like Me” (Michael Boggs and Neil Thrasher), “Love’s Gonna Drive This Train” (Dwight Liles and Michael Puryear), “I Surrender,” written by Joyce along with Chris Easton and the title cut penned by Stephan Conley Sharp and Jeff Pardo.

“As we stood in the studio, we knew a song was going to be a keeper if we couldn’t stop laughing or crying about a lyric we couldn’t have said any better,” reflects Joyce. “We hope this record exemplifies what Christ said about loving God with all your heart, strength and mind and loving your brother more than yourself. And for those experiencing struggle or disappointment, just lay your burdens down at the cross and He’ll use all the good and bad to stir it up and make something beautiful.”

The Martins and Gaither Music Group are also happy to announce The Best of The Martins DVD, which will also hit shelves and online stores on June 21st.  Hosted by Bill Gaither, the video recording brings together two decades of some of the most popular Martins’ performances from the HOMECOMING Video Series of releases.  From a cappella hymns to soul-stirring originals, fans will enjoy songs like “Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing,” “So High,” “Riverside Medley,” “Except for Grace,” “He Leadeth Me,” “Grace,” “Count Your Blessings,” “Holy, Holy, Holy,” “Softly and Tenderly,” “It Is Well with My Soul,” “Because God’s Good” and others.

The DVD also features an interview with them and longtime friend and mentor Bill Gaither as the four of them took a recent trip down the memory lane of The Martins’ musical history, creating a video scrapbook.  That history spans from the family’s humble beginnings and musical heritage to the first time their unmistakable harmonies were heard on a HOMECOMING stage followed by GMA DOVE Awards, a GRAMMY® nomination, a string of hits and performances that have taken them from the stage of “The Grand Ole Opry” to the halls of the White House.  The trio is currently traveling as part of the HOMECOMING national arena tours in addition to their own concert performances.

Both the new studio New Day release and The Best of The Martins DVD will be featured this summer on multiple tv networks including GAC, RFD, CTN, GMC, INSP, Family Net, CTS, TBN and others.  Both releases are available through EMI CMG Distribution.

Mark BishopMARK BISHOP RELEASES NEW ALBUM

He’s hit the top of the charts. He’s won numerous awards. He’s a master storyteller who spins his yarns directly into your heart.

And this album’s debut single, “My Name is Jesus,” is already the #1 Top Add in the Singing News Radio Charts.

Mark marks his tenth year as a soloist in 2011, and he does it with the strongest collection of songs in his solo career. I Still Need Him has everything you expect from a Mark Bishop project—touching stories about the overlooked characters of life, thought-provoking songs of encouragement, and magnificent ballads.

But there’s more.

From the catchy newgrass sounds of “I’m Listening For the Call” to the James Taylor-esque sounds of “Are You Goin’ Where I’m Goin,” Mark ventures into new musical territory—with his distinctive Kentucky Bluegrass-tinged Gospel twist.

• I’m Listening for the Call - Rhythmic acoustic folk reminder that the return of Christ is imminent.
• God Builds Churches with Broken People . . . and the broken become brand new.
• Job’s Wife - Mark is a storyteller at heart, and loves to tell stories about the overlooked characters of life. Here, he pulls from a real-life example - Job’s wife.
• My Name is Jesus - Southern Gospel’s master storyteller takes on the greatest story ever told. Mark is joined by guest vocalists Lauren Talley, Ivan Parker, and Mitchel Jon to offer the perspectives of Matthew, Mary, Peter, a Roman Soldier, and Jesus—and the triumphant conclusion is larger than life!
• Are You Goin’ Where I’m Goin’? - Mark ventures into new musical territory with one of his most unique songs yet.
• I Still Need Him - Pictures of nature and our journey paint a musical landscape reflecting on our need for Christ.
• It’s My Turn - So you thought there were so many songs about the Prodigal Son that nobody could bring a fresh perspective to the story? Well, you’ve underestimated Mark!
• Your Easter Sunday is On Its Way - Mark points to the Resurrection as a metaphor for a cure for personal struggles.
• That’s the Sound of a House Being Built on Love - A young boy learns about the real meaning of the church while watching his own local congregation do their version of the passion play.
• One Drop of Blood Became a River - Songs of the Cross and the Resurrection form a theme throughout the project; this song about the sacrifice of Christ brings the album to an epic conclusion.

Tribute QuartetTRIBUTE QUARTET BUS CATCHES FIRE, TOTALLY DESTROYED

The Harper Agency's office was informed around 5:15 pm this evening that Tribute Qt's bus caught fire about 60 miles west of Texarkana on Hwy 30. We don't know all the exact details but in speaking with Josh Singletary and Gary Casto they had a tire that blew out and somehow the bus caught fire. The bus is totally destroyed including all of their clothes and other items. According to Josh they were able to remove some of their sound equipment from the bends but that was all they were able to salvage. They had bus problems earlier today in the Dallas area. The servicing took longer than expected and they were forced to cancel their Engagement in Midland, TX this evening.

I spoke to Gary and Josh briefly and needless to say they are in total shock. Please keep all of the guys in your immediate prayers. Ed Harper

Hendersonville, TN (December 7, 2010) – As we approach the time of year many artists take a break from their busy schedules, Daywind recording artists Karen Peck & New River are looking forward to what the new year has in store. This January marks the 20th anniversary of Karen Peck & New River’s ministry. With the news of their GRAMMY® nomination for the album, Live At Oak Tree: Karen Peck & New River, the group will be heading to Los Angeles, CA, for the 53rd Annual GRAMMY® Awards in February. This is Karen Peck & New River’s third GRAMMY® nomination, with previous nods received for the albums Ephesians One and Journey Of Joy. Karen Peck Gooch also recently revealed that she would be appearing in a movie with Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah entitled, Joyful Noise. The movie tells the story of two women’s efforts to prevent a small hometown choir from shutting down. Karen will play the lead vocalist in a choir and will also have a speaking line. The movie is set to release early 2012.

As if a trip to the GRAMMYS® and a movie role weren’t enough, Karen and the rest of the crew are currently in the studio working on their newest album, entitled Reach Out. This will be the first album with their newest member, Jeff Hawes. The project, produced by Wayne Haun, will no doubt be another hit record from this award-winning group.

“It's hard to believe that in January 2011, Karen Peck & New River will be celebrating 20 years of ministry,” expresses Karen Peck Gooch on behalf of the group. “We are so honored to have a GRAMMY® nomination, a small movie part, and a new album all at the same time. Susan and I agree that we are the perfect examples that some things just do not happen over night! Life is good. We are very grateful to the Lord for His blessings.”

ABOUT THE ISAACS:
The Isaacs, a multi-award winning family group who began singing 30 years ago, are based out of LaFollette, TN (30 min north of Knoxville). Lily Isaacs, Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman have a unique style that blends tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to a variety of audiences. They perform frequently at the Grand Ole Opry, are active members on the Gaither Homecoming Videos and Concert Series and travel throughout the year performing internationally.

Lily Isaacs, matriarch of the group, was born in Germany after World War II to two Jewish Holocaust survivors and moved to the United States when she was 2 years old. She grew up in the Bronx, NY studying theatre and performing on Off Broadway and in 1968 recorded a folk album on Columbia Records with her friend as "Lily and Maria." She became a Christian in 1971 when a death in the family brought her and patriarch Joe Isaacs to church for the first time. That night, they began singing Christian music and laid the foundation upon which the Isaacs ministry has been built.

Siblings Ben, Sonya and Rebecca all sing and play different instruments. Ben, the oldest, sings and plays upright bass on stage. He spends much of his off time in the studio producing and playing bass on numerous other artists' albums including Merle Haggard, George Jones, a Jimmy Martin Tribute Project and Cherryholmes, and has received 5 Grammy nominations for the latter two artists. He arranges many of the Isaacs songs and is their sound technician on tour. Ben and his wife Melinda and their three children, Jacob, Cameron, & Kyra, make their home in Hendersonville, TN. Sonya, also living near Nashville, TN is married to Jimmy Yeary, and is the middle daughter and mandolin player/vocalist for the Isaacs. Sonya's husband Jimmy recently co-wrote the Rascal Flatts' hit "Why Wait." Rebecca, the youngest sister, sings and plays guitar and resides in LaFollette, TN with husband John Bowman and their 2 children, Levi and Jakobi. Sonya and Rebecca collaborate on many of the Isaacs songs and have penned most of their hits. They have also penned songs for many other artists including Gold City Qt, Trisha Yearwood, Mark Lowry, Vince Gill, Cherryholmes, Jeff and Sheri Easter, and many others. Sonya is a songwriter for Disney Music Publishing and appears in the 2009 Hannah Montana Movie as a background singer for Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus.

The Isaacs have made frequent guest appearances on many other artists records including Dolly Parton, Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, Paul Simon, Vince Gill, Randy Owen, Trisha Yearwood, Ralph Stanley, Mark Lowry, and many more. They enjoy singing and traveling most though, and provide a professional, style sensitive performance wherever they go.

Tracy StuffleTRACY STUFFLE CELEBRATES 25 YEARS WITH THE PERRYS

Hendersonville, TN (Oct. 29, 2010) – When the Perrys decided to hire a bass singer in 1985, they had no way of knowing 18 year old Tracy Stuffle would go on to make such a mark on Southern Gospel music.

On a recommendation by Gerald Wolfe, the Perry family invited Tracy to try out for the position. Gerald and Tracy made the trip from Morristown, TN, to Dahlonega, GA, in Gerald’s 1976 Toyota Corolla station wagon. Following a less-than-stellar audition, it appeared as though his chances of being hired were slim, but George Perry saw Tracy’s potential. On October 30, 1985, after a second audition and a brief trial run, Tracy began singing bass for the Perrys, a position he has now held for 25 years.

Libbi Perry Stuffle recalls Tracy’s early days with the group, saying, “Tracy was full of energy and wanted to sing!” But Tracy’s enthusiasm did not end there. “Then, after he got the part, he wanted to learn to drive the bus. Well, he did that! Then, he wanted to learn how to work on a bus and learned to do that pretty good!” Libbi continues, “his next thing he wanted to do: marry the boss’ daughter. Well, on November 28, 1987, he did that, too!”

The last quarter of a century has brought about many changes, both for the group and for the industry as a whole. But through it all, Tracy has remained faithful to the call on his life to share the Gospel through song. Libbi concludes by saying, “it's been a long road, with a lot of bumps along the way, but he has persevered and made it this far! We pray that God will allow Tracy to continue to carry His word in song for 50 more years or more! Thank you, Tracy, for your dedication, devotion and hard work you have given to God's service!”

(Hendersonville, TN) October 14, 2010 - Daywind recording artists, The Perrys, have announced that Bryan Walker will be joining the award-winning group effective October 22, 2010. Bryan will be singing baritone, filling the vacancy created by the departure of Troy Peach. Bryan is no stranger to Southern Gospel music, as he has been a member of Safe Harbor and the Dixie Melody Boys. Most recently, he has served as a police officer for the city of Sevierville, Tennessee.

"Troy feels that his work with the Perrys is done, so we want to offer our appreciation for all of the hard work and effort that he gave to our group during the past two and a half years," says Tracy Stuffle of the Perrys. "We love Troy and we wish him nothing but God's blessings for all of his future plans.

"At the same time," continues Tracy, "we're excited about welcoming Bryan Walker to our group. He's a great young man and a fine singer. So make sure you say hello to him at a concert soon!"

KAREN PECK AND NEW RIVER INVOLVED IN BUS / CAR CRASH

Karen Peck and New River was involved in a bus/car accident earlier today. The group was almost home when an elderly gentleman driving a car crossed in front of the New River bus. Ricky Gooch was driving at the time. In an effort to minimize the impact, he swerved into a nearby ditch. The driver of the car was airlifted to a hospital in Atlanta. Many witnesses have
confirmed that Ricky did all he could do to avoid the accident. The front of the bus has significant damage. Everyone was thrown out of their bunks and seats, but only received minor bumps and bruises. The lone exception was New River product manager Dawn Hughes who sustained a broken finger.

Police on the scene said it was a miracle that the bus didn't flip when Ricky tried to avoid the wreck by swerving into the ditch.
Karen asked that we pray for the gentleman who was driving the car.

Riley HarrisonA SPECIAL WORD FROM LIBBI

Dear Friends,

Words cannot begin to express our gratitude and appreciation for all of the kindness, well wishes, and prayers for my husband, Tracy Stuffle, and our family. As most of you know, Tracy suffered a heart attack last week while at home. It was then determined that he would need open heart surgery and five bypasses. The doctors were able to perform the surgery on Friday, August 13, without any issues, and Tracy is currently resting comfortably. We are expecting him to be released from the hospital on Tuesday, August 17, to begin his recovery at home.

Our family has been overwhelmed at the love and support from thousands across this land. "Thank you" seems so inadequate, but please know that it is from the heart. God has truly given my husband a second chance, for which we are so grateful. We know that we have a long road ahead of us for Tracy's recovery, but God is faithful.

Many people have asked, "What can we do?" Tracy and I ask two things of our many friends across the country. First and foremost, we humbly ask for your prayers as we begin the next phase of Tracy's rehabilitation and full recovery. Secondly, it would mean so much to Tracy and I that you support the group as they continue to travel in our absence. Tracy will not be on stage for several weeks, and I believe my place should be by his side as his wife, confidante, and primary caregiver. I do plan to go with the group when possible, but my priority will be Tracy's care. Katy Peach, Troy's wife, will be filling my position when I am not able to go with the group. (If you have ever heard her, you know she is an incredible singer!) Please know that the Perrys will be fulfilling all of our dates in the coming weeks. Your support will give us this much – needed time for Tracy to fully recover, and make the necessary adjustments in our lifestyle following this surgery.

Thank you again for your love and support. With Tracy's full health, we believe the future is brighter than ever for the Perrys.

Love,
Libbi Perry Stuffle

Singer/songwriter Mark Bishop tells reporters that he will be donating every cent of songwriter royalties derived from one of his new song's airplay to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Bishop's tune.."Just Pay Attention" is a tribute to people who care for a loved one suffering from Alzheimer's and other kinds of late – life memory loss or dementia. Mark says: "After personally witnessing the great love and patience extended by the families' husbands with wives, children with their moms and dads, I knew that I was witnessing God's love being displayed in a very real and tangible way." It is the most selfless love I have ever witnessed and it has to come from God."

Memorial Day Celebration Cancellation

Dear friends,

As you all know, Middle Tennessee has experienced a historic series of storms that resulted in record rainfall and now widespread flooding. Gaylord Opryland Resort, which sits adjacent to the Cumberland River, suffered flood damage in the early hours of Monday, May 3, 2010 as the river rose to levels that have not been seen in the last 50 years and breached the levees.

As a result of these floods, Opryland Hotel is currently closed and will not be able to accommodate the annual Memorial Day Celebration. We thought that we had an alternate venue secured but then that venue informed us that they had made a mistake and they were not able to help us after all. We have exhausted all options and have unfortunately been unable to make acceptable arrangements for Memorial Day. Therefore, regrettably we will have to re – schedule the Memorial Day Celebration for a later time. Currently, we are trying to secure dates for later this year at the Gaylord Opryland hotel and we will let you know as soon as those arrangements are finalized. Perhaps a Christmas or a New Year's Eve Celebration will be possible. The Hotel is absolutely magnificent during the Christmas season.

Opryland Hotel will be refunding deposits and payments for all reservations scheduled for arrival over the next 90 days. We greatly appreciate your patience and Opryland requests that you allow several weeks for processing.

Please know that we tried everything in our power to find a suitable substitute for Opryland Hotel, but nothing was available in the greater Nashville area. We are so very disappointed and we know that our 1000 friends will be as well. We will continue to work very diligently to make a very special alternative available quickly. Please continue to watch www.legacyfive.com for updates. God Bless you, our friends for your gracious understanding. We love you and look forward to seeing you at another Celebration soon.

If you have any questions, please email them to scottfowler@legacyfive.com.

Karen Peck & New River Participate In A Very Special National Day Of Prayer
In Nashville, TN – (Prayer Event Brings Hope and Comfort To Flood Ravaged Middle Tennessee)

Nashville, TN (May 7, 2010) – Daywind recording artist, Karen Peck & New River came to the flood ravaged area of Nashville, TN yesterday to share their vocal talents for the city's National Day Of Prayer event. The event was held on the plaza by Bridgestone Arena on Broadway. It was organized and presented by YMCA of Middle TN and The Operation Andrew Group.

Karen Peck & New River sang, along with other musical guests, Jaci Velasquez, Paris Delane, and Tina Hutchison. The event was planned before the devastating floodwaters roared over Nashville and its surrounding communities last weekend, but the timing brought even deeper meaning to the gathering. Karen Peck & New River shared two of their top songs, both of
which were incredibly fitting for that moment. One of those expressed a message of Christian love, caring, and community called "Why Can't All God's Children Get Along." The other offered the assurance that God never leaves us and His timing and grace are always sufficient when life happens, as it has in Nashville over this past week. The title of that song is "Four Days Late."

The Mayor of Nashville, Karl Dean, attended and spoke briefly at the beginning of the gathering. Several other pastors were also in attendance to lead in prayer. One of those was Rev. German Castro. Castro, pastor of El Shaddai Christian Church in Brentwood, a predominately Hispanic congregation, had to be rescued from his church on Sunday after 5 feet water surrounded it. He expressed that prayer will help his congregation and Nashville to recover. He shared with those in attendance the importance of
prayer in times like these. "No matter what happens, there's still hope," he said. "God is still in control."

The Executive Director of Operation Andrew, Michael Arrington, was a main organizer of the gathering. He shared, "It was several months ago that we chose the theme, "For Such A Time As This," for our National Day Of Prayer gathering. We never dreamed that time would be during such a difficult time for our city and the Middle TN community. The heartfelt prayer and incredible music, that led us to worship together, could not have been more fitting for this occasion as we prayed for our nation, our state and our
city."

Jeff Hawes Joins Karen Peck & New River

Dahlonega, GA – Karen Peck Gooch, of Karen Peck & New River, has announced the addition of Jeff Hawes to the group's vocal line – up. "Susan and I are very excited to have Jeff as part of our group," says Karen. "Jeff is an anointed singer and we feel that God has great plans for this young man. We hope everyone who attends our concerts will take the time
to meet Jeff."

Jeff Hawes is a native of Flat Rock, Alabama. He has previously been teaching English for the Jackson County School District, most recently teaching 12th grade English at Pisgah High School. Jeff began singing on stage around the age of five years old and has always wanted to touch people's lives through song, but it was after his tenure at Troy University that Jeff's "gospel dream" became a reality.

In 2008, Jeff auditioned with hundreds of hopeful gospel singers for a chance to be on the Gospel Music Channel's hit reality show Gospel Dream. Jeff was one of three chosen to represent Atlanta when the show was taped in Nashville. The show aired in June 2008, and after making it through two extremely tough rounds of competition, Jeff made the top 12 in the nation. After his time on Gospel Dream, Jeff went on to compete in Orlando, Fla., for the AMTC (Actors, Models, and Talent) Competition in which Jeff was
chosen for their highly esteemed Talent Show. Jeff performed in front of top producers and agents from across the world. While at the competition, Jeff was asked to travel with Stained Glass Marriage Ministries from Birmingham, Ala., in which he played keyboard and led worship for their Praise and Worship Team. Jeff also was hand chosen by Jeremi Richardson of the contemporary group Avalon to sing with the Cleveland Carolers during the 2008 Christmas season.

In March of 2009, Jeff competed in the annual Aaron Wilburn Talent Search at Hoofers Gospel Barn in LaGrange, Ga., where Jeff won 1st place in the Contemporary Christian Division. Wilburn was a huge supporter of Hawes and allowed him to open for one of his shows in Alabama. As a result of winning in LaGrange, Jeff advanced to the National Quartet Convention Talent Search in Louisville, Kentucky where he placed in the Top 10.

Jeff has a true desire to minister to the lost. "My goal is to magnify the name of Jesus and give all honor, praise and glory to His name," says Jeff. "I'm thrilled to even be singing on the same stage with Karen Peck & New River, and I'm greatly humbled and excited to be their newest addition. I cannot thank Karen and Susan enough for having the confidence in me and the faith in God to give me this chance of a lifetime."Throughout the audition process, I've stuck by my favorite scripture of Proverbs 3:6: 'In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.'"

Ladies and Gentlemen, Please Welcome The Mark Trammell Quartet!

Hendersonville, TN (January 12, 2010) – George Younce said it best, “Mark Trammell is a ‘quartet man,’ period.” After two years of soul searching as the craft of the traditional gospel quartet became scarce, Mark Trammell is pursuing his life – long dream of having his own traditional male gospel quartet.

“All I'm really doing is returning to my roots,” stated Mark. “I was trained by some of the greatest men to ever take a quartet to the stage and I'm very excited about MTQ endeavoring to raise the bar when it comes our music and being able to minister to, as well as entertain our friends and fans."

Mark has always been about singing and not gimmicks. He reminds us that Glen Payne and George Younce taught him that at the end of the day if you want to be successful in stirring the hearts of the people, you MUST sing TO their hearts, and not just their heads.

Mark admits that there was a motive behind his decision to announce the change before knowing who the bass singer was going to be. While he openly states that this was not necessarily a “religious” awakening, he did want the right man for the position. In making the announcement the way he did, the prospects came to him, instead of him going on a search to find the right man.

The right man is Pat Barker. Pat has developed a reputation as one of today’s smoothest bass singers. Pat will be joining Mark Trammell, Dustin Sweatman and Joel Wood at the beginning of February 2010.

The quartet will be in the studio soon working on a summer release from Daywind Records.

Daywind Records is based in Hendersonville, TN, and is distributed worldwide through New Day Christian Distributors. In addition to the Mark Trammell Quartet, Daywind is home to such great artists as Greater Vision, the Perrys, and Legacy Five, among others. Changes On The Horizon For The Mark Trammell Trio

Gadsden, AL – One of Southern Gospel's Top Five trios will be making some major changes in early 2010. Mark Trammell announced today that after two years of encouragement from both fans and industry friends, the Mark Trammell Trio will change its name to the Mark Trammell Quartet in the very near future.

"For over seven years our trio has enjoyed great success as a new group that God has allowed to start from literally nothing to what it is today," says Mark. "I guess George Younce was right: I am, and always have been, a quartet man at heart. We are excited about the days ahead and being able to deliver our brand of traditional four part harmony to those who have been such a great encouragement."

Who will be the bass singer for the Mark Trammell Quartet? The announcement is just a few weeks away!
